I still hate what happened to STELLAR. They deserved so much better. I remember Ga-young on Miss Back and bringing up the trauma she had from being a member of STELLAR. She never blamed the other members but blamed herself and the company, it was so heartbreaking. I just hope they are all living well and are able to move past this onto better things.

STELLAR was a solid group of talent that was overlooked by the public for no reason and taken advantage of by their company. The entire KPOP community/industry let these girls down. They were a group ahead of their time to in my opinion. MASK is a beautiful song, it’s so sad how ugly the public can be.

Hearing this is heartbreaking. As a fan in Alaska, USA, we seldom hear the backstories of disbanned groups. I LOVED Stellar for their music (even their early stuff) and was sad they disbanned, however upon hearing this, I can only wish them the best in life. STAY STRONG GIRLS!!!

As a fan of STELLAR, I had no idea the ladies were going through so much! It must have been so difficult for the members to put on a smile and perform and promote their music with so much turmoil! I am truly sorry that they had to go through all of that! I hope that they are healthy and happy now and I appreciate them more now that I know of the struggles they went through.

I just want people to remember this when hating on groups' concepts and songs because we never know what might be happening behind closed doors.

Their story sounds like something that would be directed by The Weekend and Sam Levinson

I am a fan of Stellar to this day, the first group I really stanned. What their company did to them was horrible

Their mistreatment is really worse, they were force to do the sexual concept for Marionette and Vibrato, they were paid less, Jeonyul was traumatized by white milk and she never drink it anymore, Gayoung has a outfit trauma

I was never following them actively but their song “Marionette” and “Vibrato” caught my attention back in the days. I really liked the songs but I’ve only watched the MVs once because it was very uncomfortable to see. I feel sorry for the girls

Ngl I low key loved Rocket Girl when it was released. And Sting is still such a good song. But I don't think any of it was worth what they went through. What happened to them was truly a travesty. A mixture of the company using them in such a disturbing way and the public/media only paying attention to them when they were being controversial which pushed the company into treating them even worse. Poor girls. I truly hope they are doing well now

Even though I don't know the group and the songs which I'm grateful for,it makes feel sick and disgusted that they would do this to young girls who should instead get an education and a nice job that makes them happy until they retire at an old age. At least they made changes and made a law about younger idols such as newjeans and ive getting less hours and getting an education.

Stan fan of Stellar & still on my fav playlist of all Kpop hits, & loudly, for others nearby. 👍 The US now sells Kpop more as over half of CDs sold in the US. 😊 Hopefully, they'll have a comeback as the same group with no obligations to anyone. 🤔😊 Many of the US veterans feel betrayed the same way by the recent very corrupt government supporting unholy things. My renewed passport is ready to go to Asia countries and share business with others because we really need to improve our lives and promote modernization. 🙏

Sad because, Marionette, Vibrato and Sting are great songs, catchy and their vocals are amazing. Company was blaming them for their failure to promote these girls properly. I am a fan of the girls and I did like the "sexy" concept they portrayed, but no one should be forced to do it.

I feel bad for them but I also think it is partially on them bc they should have quit if they weren't satisfied. I quit my job when I realized my company wasn't keeping promises. I know they have debts to pay but I have friends with college or medical school debt dropout and work to pay it off.

From the perspective of someone who can't stand kpop, I actually enjoyed very much the videos and music for Marionette and Vibratto. I wouldn't know those girls if it wasn't for these and frankly they were tame compared to what every single band does now which is closer to soft porn. They should have embraced it and run with it but I can sympathise if they didn't care for it and preferred being unsuccessful girl-next-door types. The fact that they made no money through it all is the only thing I find sad but then again, the production company had to finance it all. As for the milk thing, gimme a break, nobody's that innocent at 20. You need a much thicker skin in showbiz.

imho ... Stellar was positively stellar . music and image and all . that the SK public generally couldn't care less about them , that's a shame . they just liked the competition better , for whatever reasons ... generally people who wouldn't jump off a sinking ship if their life depended on it , simply because they were told not to by some elder authority figure , and for fear of what others would think of them . the kpop public is much like the audience at Scala di Milano : always going with the flow .

it's shame that they didn't do well, their music is actually pretty good.

While a sympathize with them for being forced to portray an image that clearly wasn't for them, I do have to give them the sideeye. I think they're feigning innocence when it came to understanding the milk scene. They knew exactly what the message was, but were forced to do it. That was a blatant attempt at getting more sympathy points.

That's a shame. Vibrato is actually an amazing song, and I don't think the theme in the video is so absurd, If we remember that the likes of Dua Lipa and Nicky Minaj exists in this world of pop music, even on Kpop theres much worse stuff like Hyuna - Lips, Laysha - Chocolate Cream, Hellovenus - Wiggle Wiggle... I dare to say that Vibrato is actually, one of the best (if not THE BEST) kpop song I ever listened, and has a classy sexy vibe, which the artists I said before lacks (they're just vulgar by the sake of it). I hope the girls are doing better now, and overcome their traumas.

It’s so nasty how the public can be. Back in 2014 groups were doing already sexy and mind blowing concepts and I don’t understand why they had to hate on one group stellar even without minors. Marionette is such a good song. Idk why people are mad about it. The girls were fine doing sexy dance but not the clothes. If this was a 9muses song or a girls day song it would be super successful.
