Greetings, tonight I am making one of my personal favorites, Dijon Chicken. Now I used to make this with a packet from the gravy aisle. But then one day they stopped making it and I realized that I didn't need that chemical filled, artificially flavored and colored packet to make this delicious dish. With a few ingredients that you may already have on hand you can put this dish together in under 30 minutes. pair it with some rice or noodles and a nice salad or green veggie and you have a complete meal fit for a king (or queen).
I hope you try this and I hope you enjoy it. As always, Happy Eating!

Noreen, Another great little tip about using the lid as a holding plate. One less dish to wash too. I like the way you always add the veggies to make a nice balanced meal and colorful plate. My guys love chicken so I'm going to surprise them with this. Your husband must love your cooking. A happy man! Mary

@nkr1695 I have spent way too many hours watching the PBS cooking series Great Chefs when I was a kid. I also have worked in many restaurant kitchens. Cooking is a passion for me. I also have somewhat of a steel trap for a memory. I remember stuff. Not because I try, just because I do. Nobody will play trivial pursuit with me. I'm basically a know it all. I have to keep that in check. Thank you for your kind comments. Noreen : )

@deelundquist16 Paper plates are a MUST in this house and paper bowls. Cuts down on work for me and the dishwasher. We eat off of them a lot during the week, but if we eat something heavier, I always use regular dishes. I figure my kids are not going to grow up and hate me because we used paper plates. Rick always calls me Monica (from Friends) cause I can't go to bed with dishes in the sink. There was an episode where she couldn't either. Thanks! Noreen : )

I really appreciate your channel and I totally appreciate the fact that you responded to my post considering how busy you are. Just wanted to let you know that the Wondra recall that you posted in the past 2 days impacted this dish for me since I thickened my sauce with it and to say the least I felt a little bit uneasy yesterday, and come to find out, my canister of Wondra was on the recall list! Thank you so much for the "heads up"! I don't remember exactly where I purchased my canister from, but it is now going out of my pantry! Thanks!

I made this last night. It's truly delicious and not necessarily what I expected. I have some stashed for a wonderful leftover meal and 2 servings in the freezer. I almost can't wait for leftovers!

I love watching your videos. You make dishes that are things that us everyday working Moms can do without too much fuss and muss . Also, they are delish. I love watching you coook becasue I can see that your kitchen is a lot like mine....small and full. I have learned to make do with the space that I have and just adapt. Don't get me wrong, sure I would like a big fancy kitchen but oh well! Have a nice day and thank you for sharing your talents with us!

@goldengirl67 On the surface opening a restaurant is a nice idea, but that is where it stops being nice. Restaurants are the one business with the highest overhead of all businesses. Food cost, rent, the current economy, unreliable help, employee theft and a myriad of other things help me to shy away from that prospect. In addition, I do not want to be married to a job. I want to enjoy my family. Restaurants must be open when people want to eat. That is always pretty much. Thanks! Noreen

@atticus9799 I see your point. We have had our own automotive business for 16 years and it takes up most of our time sometimes all week long. It is tiring but when people want their cars quickly, you have to deliver or they won't come back. Anyway, love your videos.

How long can you store those boxes of chicken stock in fridge once they have been opened?
@noreenskitchenchannel
@noreenskitchenchannel 7 лет назад
Once they are opened, they usually need to be used in about a week or so. Thanks for the comment
