If you are comfortable writing on a glass, the apple pencil might replace your notebook for note taking. With the apple note, you can easily convert your note writing into text. Saves you time inputting it with a keyboard. The ipad mini 6 have replace my note experience with a physical notebook. It took time getting used to, I was skeptical of doing it too. Since I really like to carry small notebook around. But with the icloud sync with apple devices. I can easily access it with the iphone when I just need a quick glance. But it’s highly up to your preference. The writing experience is gonna be different with a physical notebook. I highly recommend to try it first at the apple store with the pen first before purchasing it.

I’ve had mine for months and like it allot. I wanted something that will fit a paperback book and different pocket items. The size is perfect for what I need and I think the messenger bag style looks more mature than most slings.

Great video! I love the production quality and layout. Also that Ron Kwok cameo. Subbed :> Also def vouch for the apple pencil. I use it to draw, paint, and take notes on my iPad pro. I think it's worth the price. I have the 1st iteration and the 2nd iteration of it is even better.

Great video! Just wondering if the bag can fit a Galaxy S6 Tab Lite? For reference the dimensions are 244.5 x 154.3 x 7 mm (9.63 x 6.07 x 0.28 in)

Thank you so much! I tried fitting a piece of paper cut that size and it doesn't fit very well in the tablet sleeve. I tried putting in the main compartment but I'm concerned the corners might stick out. I recommend asking the team at Alpaka to confirm if it fits in there!

I have the Apple Pencil 2 with my iPad Mini 6..it is the best one. I am saying so because I have also the Logitech Crayon which is great.. still the Apple Pencil 2 is really great with the iPad mini..

Very good video. I’m seriously considering this sling bag. Does it hurt your shoulder during a day’s use and you’re out and about?

Thank you! I haven't had any shoulder pain carrying this setup during a day's use. The strap sling is slim, and the weight distribution is very close to the body. With my setup, the sling doesn't feel too heavy, and the strap feels comfortable on my shoulders. However, I think if you add heavier items like a water bottle and an umbrella, the straps might start digging into your shoulder. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me 😀

I've also tried the Alpaka Bravo and Alpaka Atom slings with the iPad Mini. They all fit the iPad but I perfer the size of the Go Sling Mini

Curious to the dimensions of your Moleskin Notebook. I have one that is considered "pocket size" that is 9x14cm and am wondering if it'll fit. My Go Sling Mini hasn't arrived yet.

Sorry I've lost that Moleskine journal. I have a Muji A6 journal that is 9.2x14.6cm and it fits in that slot. I would consider the Muji A6 just a bit too tall and close to the zipper but I think your journal should be all good!

The buckle is in the middle of the strap. But when one carries the bag over one's chest, the buckle sits exactly between shoulderblades - must be uncomfy... Question: if you're a photographer, what do you use for cam bag?

In my experience, the buckle isn't very noticeable when the sling is over the chest. I'm using the first version of the Lowepro Pro Tactic 350AW for my camera bag.

Unfortunately, I don't think they sell them separately. You'll need to buy a WE Knife or a Civivi to get one :(

I have a pacemaker, would the magnetic buckle on this make it too dangerous for me to wear?

That's a very good question! I'm not sure but I think avoid using magnetic buckles would be the best option since it would sit around your chest area. I'd recommend going with slings that have a traditional buckle or no buckles. If I remember correctly, the slings from Evergoods use the traditional buckle.

That's a very good question! A small or slim sling would be ideal so it doesn't strain the neck too much. I recommend checking out these: Aer Day Sling, Alpaka Go Sling Mini and the Bellroy Sling. These all have a quick release and should be easier to take on and off. My only concern would be straining the neck when accessing the bags. Hope this helps! 😀

How would you contrast the bellroy and alpaka go slings in terms of quality? I can't decide between the Bellroy and Alpaka Go Sling Mini

I feel like they're pretty similar in terms of build quality. The main thing to be aware of is the material. I found that the Kodra 500D on Alpaka can pick up lint and scratches easily. I also tried my friend Bellroy Sling and had a similar experience. They're both great slings but I would go for the other versions like XPAC or Ripstop.

What is the best fabric to choose for go along mini? Vx-42?

I'd recommend going with any of the XPAC versions if you can! The XPAC material is a bit crinkly and noisy but it requires a lot less maintenance compared to the Kodra 500d

I have the original Alpaka Bravo Sling and was wondering if I should get the Alpaka Go Mini. I don’t want another giant sling bag especially when I’m always on the go for work.

From what I remember the Alpaka Bravo Sling is 6L and the Go Sling Mini is around 4L. The 2L difference was very obvious. The Bravo sling felt a bit too big for me and the Go Sling Mini was the perfect size. The Go Sling Mini is much slimmer so some gear might have a tougher time fitting into it like water bottles and pouches. I think the Go Sling Mini is a good 4L sling. Another option would be the Bellroy Sling Mini but I wasn't a fan of the lack of pockets and compartments.
