Sunscreen! A good, dermatologist approved, not oily one. A 30 SPF for winter and (at least) 50 for summer. Don’t you ever forget it, you’re ageing gracefully, you wanna maintain that! Great content, subscribed 👍🏼👍🏼
Ehsan Ullah Abbasi that Muhle travel shaving brush is absolutely amazing. Same goes for Aesop products. I use their classic shampoo and conditioner as well as the coriander seed body wash and amazing face wash.
just discovered this channel. It looks good. I have a Saddleback leather "large mouth" Dopp kit. The gladstone opening really improves the function of this high-quality leather Dopp kit. Thanks for this video...good job.
You can wash off the alum after using it. Your clothes wont get dirty and your skin will feel better. Usually after a nick I scrap the styptic stick with my fingernail into my palm until I get enough powder. I wait about 30 seconds before I wash it out with plain water and it doesn't bleed anymore. Even when I don't nick anything I use a hydrated alum stone right after the final pass, wait 30-60 sec, wash it out with plain water multiple times, then tap dry and after shave. The alum stone makes my skin feel much fresher and less irritated, specially if I was in a hurry and got razor burn. l tried liquid before but it didn't work for me. Maybe yours is more concentrated, I'll try it if I get a chance.
Hi Brian, thanks for the video. You have to try a French brand for shaving soaps, called Martin de Candre. They make the best pure lavender natural soaps for shaving!
For me, the trick is to have it dry and then run my comb through my hair. That'll make it feel more natural and still give you the hold. Sometimes, I'll have a few flyaways that I'll just hold in place with a little bit of water.
@@RabbiTrogdor Interesting. It definitely takes just the slightest effort for me to pull the comb through, but once I break up the hardness, it's totally fine. If you use water, you're just going to activate the gel again so I feel like that would be counterproductive.
Started using a DE before were a craze, Opa's 1967 Gillette. Reason being my red beard has VERY thick hairs and get caught between the blades on the modern razors. Heard TSA changed the rules and no more blades in carry-on. Guess then means going with stubble look. ;p Love the travel brush, what a great idea.
Adriel Rowley nice! Yes, I can confirm that DE blades are NOT allowed in carry-on luggage. I just put them in checked. But last flight even though the razor had no blade they still had me open up Dopp kit, which I had in carry-on, to double check that it didn’t have a blade.
On the rare occasion do fly, even though checked is free, I do not. My last one they took off the plane at an earlier stop, and in the end dropped it at the family home I was staying at about one in the morning, ignoring the repeated instructions not to ring the doorbell. After that, I no longer as don't want to be a rude guest, plus have to replace lost items. I just had this idea, wonder if they have a minimum checked bag size? Check a cheap dopp kit with just the blades. Ha. By the way, I fit a weeks worth of clothing in a large briefcase and the last trip needing a suit for Sister's wedding, just wore it on the trip so didn't have to be packed. Put it in the bathroom and took a hot shower to freshen up. Oh and while mentioning a tip, will add another. Wear a no show sock over the day's socks for TSA, then once through turn wrong side out and put in the outside pocket of the briefcase to keep the filth inside so the insides of the footwear stay clean.
Hi Brian, just stumbled across your site as recently got into collecting watches, your content is great and you've earned a subscriber. I just wanted to ask, are you still using Imperial Pomade 2-years on? I like you, have been through around 15 different brands and can't quite settle on one I like. I flit between many and am currently using American Crew Cream Pomade. Was keen to hear which other brands you rated too. Thanks!
What's up, Nathan?! Use the following as well: Classic Shampoo: shopstyle.it/l/Vgvs Volumising Conditioner: shopstyle.it/l/Vguj Amazing Face Cleanser: shopstyle.it/l/Vgvy Coriander Seed Body Wash: shopstyle.it/l/VgvB And we've had this duo in the guest bathroom for over two years! shopstyle.it/l/VgvE
I am in need of a few new products. Do you use an eye cream? Also when are you coming out with a video of your watch collection? It seems to grow by the day.
Eye cream. Not at the moment. I have tried this one by Jack Black before though: amzn.to/2zatwLS I'm not disciplined enough to keep that going on a nightly basis! Watch collection video DEFINITELY coming out next month! Will also be shooting a "Watch Story" with Crown & Caliber in two weeks, which should also be fun.
I have travelled overseas with pills and Alka Seltzer in the Carry on bag and so far never had an issue. But I do not discard the possibility for customs to take your stuff away if they whish so.
First, that's ridiculously large. Second, you can buy deodorant anywhere. No point lugging a giant tub of it around. Also if you quit eating sugar, you wouldn't smell. And then why all the year's worth of quantities of things, for a simple travel setup? Dude man looks like he never actually travels.
Soooo overboard. Waaayyy too big and too much stuff. Maybe if traveling for weeks at a time in the jungle where you wear a pith helmet and have the locals act as porters, looking for Doctor Livingston 🤣
