One thing I really respect about this kit is it is not outrageously expensive and you aren’t incentivized to prop these tools up more than they are for sponsorships. Not all tradesmen have wild money to buy a full Diamondback rig with all same brand tools and fancy storage. This setup is simple, effective, and fairly budgeted.

That hammer is $200 bucks and the nail puller is also $200 maybe $300 I went to erner brands website and everything is expensive for I don’t know what reason. Not even titanium.

Love your content, bro. I'm from Brazil and we are growing with framing here. You are a perfect teacher and I watched almost all your videos. If you want I translate your videos to portuguese. There's not a single person teaching the way you do in Brazil. Thanks for teaching me.

Love when you do this Matt .... You've always made these vids ... and it's glorious you do! I know you are stressed, I know you have a ton of other things you would rather do that fulfills just you. And this remodeler from MN has been here the whole way. Thanks again for all this EXTRA work you do. Take breaks when you need it. You do a superb job on everything.

I've been rocking the Badger SS Framers belt as well and it's probably the best belt I had in a while!! I love the back support it has built in to it and the pockets are big enough to fit my whole hand in it to grab my fasteners! I love that it has a bunch of Lil pockets everywhere so you can organize your tools as well

I went to a minimalist kind of tool belt 2 years ago and its so much better. Only keep absolute basic essentials in it permanently and if i need extra items i load them in and remove them when im done that task. Being able to move around without the extra weight is huge. I dont have diamonback bags but i added their cat paw/prybar sheeth to the left side and thats also awesome with the hammer sheath on right side. And i keep one of their DB Sax in the left bags so if i need to carry extra fasteners i always have the bag handy.

On my right bag, I have a fatmax torpedo level, 1 inch chisel with a Stanley chisel sheath, Milwaukee chalk box 6:1 ratio, Milwaukee fastback knife, some pencils and markers and Stanley fatmax 25 ft. swinging stiletto ti-bone. Left side I have a small Estwing cats paw. I believe it doesn’t do as much damage as a large wrecker. Fasteners, Swanson speed square, and a 3 inch swanson square. Lastly some gloves and a key chain of impact bits, for like structural lags and such. I use the dewalt emglo 4 gallon compressor and deezwalt gun, but I’m not always opposed to the battery guns. I have the dewalt and Metabo rear handles.

I want a nice bag to keep for a long time but at the same time I want something that can handle 30 pounds of tools like you said because the less I move to go back and forth to get tools the faster I get things done and those few seconds multiple times a day make a huge difference in my day and motivation

As a finish carpenter I carry a lot of tools! 2 squares ( 4/6 ) 16’ tape, punches, awl, nail set, bits, wera screw driver, 10 oz Stiletto, bout 10 pencils, 6” sliding rule, and mallet! Trust me I carry a carpenter box for different set ups! I see a finish guy w/ o a tool belt I tell him “ no you can not barrow my tools” ! Those dudes always make excuses! Great video and if you’re framing what more do u need in your belt? ( a bit box with common used bits👊!).

The badger belt is by far the most comfortable set I’ve had. I just wish I had ordered a smaller belt. I find myself pulling them up a lot. The badger suspenders for whatever reason aren’t too comfortable they feel like they ride in the neck. I saw that he added a 4 point suspender option that looks better

They sell a 3.5 in belt that I think I'm leaning towards.. might not give as good of lower back support as the 6" belt but I feel like it will just feel better and stay up better

@Matt, rocking the fatmax razor knife as well as the same fatmax 25. Chalkbox w/blue is an old plastic Irwin mini up to 50ft. It saved me weight and space in bags. That's why it's in my left bag as well. Nail pouch is dead center of my back where 12's and 6/8's live. I can blindly reach behind w/ left hand to choose nail size. Right bag contains all marking instruments. Using sharpie pro red/black. Rocking both carpenter pencils and fat round. Fat rounds are way more accurate and my go to. Still loving my Vaughn although I prefer the straight handle like you have. My craftsman 24oz finally broke. 😎✌️
