Namibia was a formally a German Colony....thus a lot of German influence there even though it´s predominantly black with several different tribes. A very interesting country

Hopefully things have improved but on a safari in 2002, when I went into a Windhoek coffee shop, I saw mainly whites who seemed to assume that with my black appearance, I was a service worker. Wished I had the presence of mind to ask for tips when they were giving their coffee orders

Hello brother Xavier. Fellow Jamaican here living in the US. I will be relocating permanently with my wife and kids this summer to Africa. Still deciding on exact country. I will be taking a trip to Uganda in a week or so and I will be over there for 2 weeks. While in Uganda I plan to catch a flight to Namibia for maybe 5 or so days. I notice you had another video with a Jamaican lady in Uganda and I also found this video of this Jamaican family in Namibia. I really hope I hear back from you on this but I would love to be able to get in touch with these folks, especially the family in Namibia. I do have a friend in Uganda, so I'll have someone on the ground there but I don't know a soul in Namibia. Still would be nice to link another Jamaican in Uganda though. Please let me know if you are open to me contacting you or if there is a way to get in touch with the Jarrett family in Namibia. Peace and blessings.
