When I saw Maule and saw a tri-gear I had to see the video. I remember riding in one in the late 1960s and it was exciting. There were four of us in the plane and the performance was spectacular. To put it bluntly, the stall warning horn was blaring while we made some tight turns over a house that had suffered a propane explosion. The plane never struggled with any maneuver. Bear in mind, most of my experience had been in J3s, Champs, and Cessnas. It was like being in a Ferrari after riding in a compact car.

Great vid....man, I remember when BD and June were like next door neighbors....beautiful people. Awesome aircraft company and planes. Again, thanks for bringing back some great memories. I'm a retired A&P and student pilot. So glad you're offering a school. What a great opportunity. Fantastic.. God bless ya'll

They are versatile and performant no-fuss practical aircraft. I've had an MX7 for 12 years now and it's been easy to maintain and wonderful to fly. I can get in and out of really tight spaces, carry my ski equipment, etc.

Hello Bryan, Excellent video. I am an Air Force Veteran. My specialty has been in the Avionics field, starting out in the Instrumentation service and repair then advanced into integrated Digital Avionics. My question is, can a person as myself, if entered into the program at MAULE and THOMAS UNIVERSITY, can i apply my Air Force education towards an Aviation Degree. Please let me know if this is possible. Also, i am interested in a MAULE AIRCRAFT, does MAULE have a owner builder assist program???

The hull of Maule model aircraft use front wheels , metal or carbon fiber or not ? I had been to take the ARMY Officer of the Royal Thai Army visited Maule Air Inc factory about 10 years ago , When the aircraft body was made of canvas .

Sawasdee khap, Alongkom! Maule aircraft have all metal wings with a fabric covered, tubular-steel fuselage frame. The engine cowling is aluminum and continues back to the doors which are also metal framed and covered. My first flight as a student when I was 16, was in a Piper Cub. My second flight was in a 1971 M4 Maule with a Franklin 220 HP engine. The Maule was like a fighter compared to the Cub. I was so impressed, I promised myself I'd own one eventually. Having just retired after 47 years and over 26,000 hours in mostly high-performance jets (including many trips to Thailand), I'm happy to say a similar 1971 M4 Maule resides in my hangar today. It's Dee Mak and I Love it! Mii kwaam-suk maak-maak na ... Hawk ^v^

What is A&P or ANP as you have mentioned in the video?

It refers to airframe and powerplant the federal license that is required to be an aviation maintenance technician. Also known as amt 1 and amt2 amt2 is for commercial airline techs.

@@samsgotgame I am an A&P, and I am unaware of an amt1 / amt2 designation. The experience requirements for a job are certainly differentiated, but there is no difference in the FAA license yet. That being said, an A&P should not perform a task unsupervised, that they have never performed before without the oversight of an experienced mechanic who has performed that task.

@@johnschreiber1574 Back in my days 20 years ago. The airlines used the media to dumb down a&p mechanics so they didn't have to pay us what we are worth. It backfired. They then could not find any mechanics. There where a number of accidents so they needed to change our titles for public perception. A&P's are AMT's. AMT2's are airline mechanics that maintain yearly qualifications.

Man, that might be true, but most people don’t know that the only reason for brs in the cirrus was because it can get into an unrecoverable spin which made it uncertefiable as a single engine airplane. It was a coup for marketing to sell the brs as a feature instead of the reality that it was an under designed airframe.

@@coreymitchell1468 the exact same cirrus you are discussing is approved in Europe for spins. You’re wrong, it therefore is approved in all the mde nations. Low IQ is eternal violence, disease, poverty, destruction, dysfunction and corruption. Your mouth is dangerous. If you want to meet for coffee and take some spins toward earth in my cirrus and pay all the fuel BWO stupidity I’ll show you how easy it is to get out of a spin. I’ve done as many as 12 revolutions and even tried to get it into a flat spin.
