Man this fight has been dragged.... I want the plot to move on so bad... Even if it means the end. It is not even fun to me anymore. It is literally the same thing over and over. My Prediction: I am hoping for some type of Kenjaku plot twist. Like please... These recent chapters since Kenjaku's death have shown me something.... What is this story without him? Where would we be..? Sukuna is just bland to me. And this fight has shown me that he cannot replace Kenjaku. Cool villain with a cool design and a bunch of BS but that is it.. WE GET IT. He is strong and no one but Gojo can compete alone... MOVE ON NOW PLEASE. Merger I beg you, START!

I just hope Gege's fine and he can finish the story. I'd hate to see JJK be another victim of an unfinished Manga for whatever reason it could be, much less for health reasons in the brutal industry. I'd like to see JJK turn into monthly, longer chapters.

I know some people will hate it but i would love sukuna winning and maybe only yuji is still alive and sukuna only kept him alive to break yuji even more that would be awesome cuz im sure we can all agree sukuna ia just an amazing villain and seeing the cast struggle this much is actually cool.

That line about sukuna eating someone wasn’t said by gege himself, that was the interviewer saying his thoughts out loud.

For me.... I hate to say it, but I am just waiting for the next "plot twist" that's going to happen. With how much this has been dragging at this point, it feels like the ending is just going to be pushed more and more. Especially with what you mention with Kenjaku and the particularity of the date, that makes it feel even more like that's the case... which at this point I can't say is a good thing. Suspense is a powerful thing, but we are no longer in suspense, we're in limbo, waiting for the true end and not another moment where Sukuna "somehow" starts ignoring everything for his next target of interest.

I don't feel the same way. Yuta explicitly said that using gojo's body was the worse case scenario, the last back up plan. Hakari also said that the plan should be used when all other plans fail. Maki back in ch 253 wanted to end everything herself, probably because she knew that if she failed yuta would use gojo's body. All of this implies that after yuta is done fighting in gojo's body, it's all unknown territory from then on, which in my mind means the final section of vs sukuna. Whatever will come of that, I'm not sure, but it will for sure be the final battle. I know a lot of us are exhausted of this fight dragging on, but I find it strange that no one cares to question if gege is also getting tired of this. If we're getting tired just from reading it, then surely gege is getting tired of having to dish out these chapters. Surely he's prepping to end things instead of trying to milk everything past it's worth. we just need a little more faith

@@Dan-neil And it's perfectly fair to feel that way too, and it's a good point to bring up that this has been framed as the final solution by our protag crew. But that is assuming they are the only ones that have those kinds of plans, which we definitely can't say for sure. That's more where my head is at. Though fair on Gege, I don't know. I feel a bit conflicted, but that's more on the whole continual Sukuna glazing that seems to be happening. I understand that he is the most powerful curse user, but that's the thing, I already understand it. So there comes a point where that becomes a drag point instead of a hype point, and for me personally, we've already crossed that line. Of course, that's all me tho, for all I know, it's the best thing for someone else.

Weeb commander came out with a video about a sort of time loop which has some promise he talked about the curse corpse idea which I don’t like but every other part sounds like it can be the case. If you have the time I’d say take a look at the video. Good work on the videos man I love your content!

Gojo's classic line "Love is the most twisted curse of them all" might tie into the fact the merger is activating on the Japanese equivalent of Valentine's Day (Dec 24-25)

I think it would be massively unsatisfying if Gege only uses the bigger "he was a demon and pure evil" side of the mythology but doesnt somehow incorporate the "he was a benevolent ruler and devine protector" smaller side of the legend. I specifically want to point to the point in the harvest festival in the flashback with yorozu, the people complaining about Sukunas attendance said the Sun, Moon, and Star squads were "subjugation units" that Sukuna slaughtered, and that Sukuna was a monster yet when we see him he seems very chill just sitting there looking sad. They were trying to make sukuna bend the knee to the empire and he said no in brutal fashion. I see nothing wrong with his actions in the heian era only heresay from a corrupt society.

@@kalpeshbhoir7372 I actually think Sukunas personality has to do with the legend we heard in the beginning and Kenjakus BV. Something like, he (Sukuna) will be who they (the sorcerers society) remember him as. And they remembered him as a ruthless murderer, a monster. Just like half of the legend in the Japanese mythology. There is a version of Sukuna in the same book the "murderer" part comes from that was written to be a "benevolent and Devine protector." When the merger happens and the BV is complete Sukuna will probably behave totally different. We will hopefully see the benevolent Sukuna. I will also like to point out that as of right now Yuji is more a confirmed cannibal than Sukuna is.

I'm sorry I thought of more info. The scene where Kashimo talks to Sukuna. It begins with Sukuna monologuing. He (sukuna) explains that the people who approached him (Kashimo) were trying to test themselves, or prove themselves in some way. Sukuna/Kashimo met that in kind and killed them but also acknowledged them and it ends with Sukuna saying, "if that's not love, then I don't know what is." That is what he thinks love is and he practices it. But it isn't love. And that's why he finds it worthless. I think when we saw Sukuna talk to people in that "afterlife" thing, I believe that is the "real" Sukuna, everything we see in the overworld is the result of the BV with Kenjaku.
