Another good thing about lanolin sealers is they smell a hell of a lot better than fish oil sealers.

The Lanotec Type A grease with graphite powder mixed in is excellent for hinges that are subjected to the outdoor elements. Especially for gate hinges, it keeps the gate quiet and smooth for a couple of years. It stays right where you apply it and doesn't leak or anything. Works great.

I'm tempted to try boiled linseed oil. I've been using on tools and things that won't self combust and it's working great. It dries into a protective varnish.

G'day Jim, with the Steel Seal if you let it dry properly for a couple of weeks before hitting the tracks/beach then you will find a lot les sticking to it.

Why is your website down so often? Even today your own link says "Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR" . I tried buying from you but I ended up going elsewhere online. I got the 5 Ltr Steel Seal and 750ml sprayer.

Hey mate couple of questions on this product, I have a new 79 which iam keeping,so where should you not spray it on under the car,and does dirt and sand and mud stick to it or will it high pressure hose off Cheers brent

G'day Brent, there isn't really anywhere you can't spray lanotec on the underbody. Steel Seal is perfect for the chassis and fixed parts, Heavy Duty Lanolin is best for leaf springs. Make sure you let it all soak in and dry for a couple of weeks before hitting the beach, that way you will get very little sticking to the steel seal.

Lanotec Steel Seal is great, What isn't, is that poxy little bottle. Just don't buy it! Useless...buy a proper spray bottle from Bunnings.

G'day Jeff, not had a problem with the spray bottle I use, and have been using the same ones for about 6 years. The best one I have found is the 1.5L as you don't have to refill it so often.
