Nice video to watch just add I finished meal prep for my cat for the next month... This month he has pork, chicken, lamb, rabbit, chicken gizzard, chicken hearts, green tripe, chicken liver, rabbit kidney and beef sweet breads.. Kelp and fish oil added at meal time.

My dog is eating premade beef raw with once a week chicken raw that I prepare but I want to add more different types of protein (and maybe totally transitioning to homemade raw). What kind of secreting organs should I add? There's not much choice here other than beef, chicken, turkey and lamb. His premade raw contains beef and fat, veal liver, veal trachea, veal spleen, chicken meat, Tripe, anchovy, Cow's udder. He also eats kefir, bone broth, some vegetables and fruits. What could I add for this to balance it out? For example turkey meat with chicken gizzard and heart, lamb brain would be fine? Or should I add more different types of proteins?

I actually found a raw diet kibble! The brand name is nature’s variety instinct the raw brand and it’s a pure raw diet kibble with no extra ingredients! And they have it for dogs and cats! (Beef version) The ingredients for dogs are: beef, beef liver, pumpkin seeds, beef spleen, carrots, apples, butternut squash, ground flaxseed, dried kelp, broccoli, apple cider vinegar, salmon oil, rosemary extract, blueberries, and dried chicory root. The use monomorillonite clay for shape, mixed tocopherols as a preservative, and freeze dry it. (Rabbit version)For cats the ingredients are: rabbit (including ground rabbit bone), pork, pork liver, pumpkin seeds, carrots, apples, butternut squash, rabbit liver, rabbit kidney, rabbit lung, dried kelp, broccoli, apple cider vinegar, salmon oil, rosemary extract, blueberries, and dried chicory root. Can you give a few high quality kibble recommendations for those of us who are not in a position to feed raw but still want to feed a good food!

One thing about green tripe. Make sure it is from a grass finished cow or else you are feeding your dog grain. All cows are grass fed but few are grass finished. I quit feeding tripe because of this. When a dog eats tripe they are essentially eating whatever the cow ate...good or bad. When they eat muscle meat from a cow they are not consuming directly what the cow ate, so if the cow ate some grain it is not a problem other than the omega 3 to 6 ratio will not be as good.

May I ask why you specify "ground" lamb? Just interested as I stopped buying ground meats as I heard that the increased surface area increased the possibility of e-coli contamination.

Online it says to avoid Turkey legs/drumsticks. But are chicken legs/drumsticks safe for consumption? Or are they “machine cuts”?

By "heart shouldn't take up more than 15% of the 80% muscle meat portion" do you mean that the heart shouldn't take up more than 15% of the overall meal or 15% of the 80% (i.e., 0.80*0.15 = 0.12 or 12%)?

I'm a raw feeder, which is why I'm passionate about using evidence and not opinion. How do you know the meats tested came from livestock raised on antibiotics?

Is it true you can only use 15% heart for the muscle meat precentage? I always use chicken/duck heart for 50% of my muscle meat because it is cheap to get here😭 i thought it was okay, should i reduce it? (Edit to add info that my pet is a 3 years old cat)

My cat just will not eat any type of organ once she ate chikenung but that's abt it so picky she's happy to eat chicken beef fish amd eggs and bones can be blended up but idk abt organ since it's mandatory :/

I will move out father before I get my dog but I went to my local Hannaford and all they had was whole meats for like steak and chicken breasts nothing like organs tonge chicken feet
