So happy to see Chi Cao(thank you Phil!) b/c I haven't seen him since around the time of the film. Yes, male ballet dancers "big ballerino!". I love Chi talking about male dancers. This man's passion, his love of dance...his beauty, he's also so handsome, just moves me deeply. Of all the films this one is my very most beloved. I watch it repeatedly and tell everyone to see it. I'm not Asian but I am a dance lover. I cry watching this film every time and the last dance number The Rite of Spring by Stravinsky, so powerful...I think the theme is addiction. Wish I could ask the choreographer or Chi. A wonderful smiling picture of Chi I got from the internet is on my wall. I'm American and was skyping yesterday with a French friend and she saw his picture and asked who he was. I tell everyone about this film and his dancing. Phil, the only thing this interview missed is, "who is Chi married to?". I would have loved to hear something of his personal life. I'd like to know more about what he's doing and how to ever see him in person. I can't express about how his dancing moves me. So wonderful that this life, his hard work and inspiration has brought him to share the very depth of his soul through dance to our world. Blessings to all. Thank you so much. Take care.
