Last year I discarded a kilo or so. When the Winter finally hit central europe, they died. But mine loved the summer heat, even my cacti were suffering - they did not. They also love it in the bathroom without direct sunlight and a tiny bit of humidity. I gave up on understanding the plant once they decided to thrive between the charcoal of my Orchids...done
Great tips Anna, thank you for sharing!! I've finally learned to care for this plant!! I keep it in my mini indoor greenhouse with plenty of humidity, and air out my greenhouse every few days!! It grows so fast I've got three pots of cuttings and some vines growing in water!!
Thanks, I have issues with leggy tradescantia. I’m really trying to grow them bushier but the light in my house is not great. I have it near an east facing window and a grow light nearby.

if your wandering jew has thin leaves, youre growing it wrong. its leaves should be not thick like a succulent, but not thin either, slightly thick, like an 8th to 16th inch or so. i do full summer day direct sunlight, it will wash out the deeper purples if you give it more than 12hrs a day, but it still has those deep purple leaves, but the upper leaves will gain a water melon looking leaf and its beautiful. it never turns them brown where i live.
