What's wrong with Odie? Update from the UK 

Hi from Australia....you have given him the most wonderful life...when he does 'sleep' for eternity he will sleep with love in his heart that YOU gave to him.

Take care of yourself Marina, these are times of great presure, but you know what really matters so i'm sure you will take the correct decisions. Odie is obviously a very happy dog, and he has someone that loves him deep and truely, that's you. He feels the same for you, and the only thing that he needs now is all your care and love. The rest of things in this life, doesnt really matters, money goes and comes, home is were you feel that you want to be, but the great times we spend with the ones we love, that's the important. Odie will not really care about anything now more that you spend all your time with him.

It's amazing to see how calm and mature Odie's character is and you are such a wonderful Mom to him. God bless you both. Love from India.

Odie will be fine - nature will take its course like it does with all of us - just care for him and love him and it will be ok. As long as the end when it comes is peaceful.

Head over to Northern Ireland. More than happy to have you stay on our land in Fermanagh. Close to lakes, beaches, forests and, given the doggy issues, excellent vets. We have 4 dogs of our own so he would have plenty of company.

I'm sure the word 'rape' is to describe the cruciferous vegetable in English and comes from the Latin languages - from rapa ("turnip") and all other cruciferous veggies. Lovely to see you and Odie surrounded by such natural beauty.

It's good to hear how Odie is doing. It's hard when they get old isn't it, but he is lucky to have you and to have such a great life. Wishing you both every blessing.

Thank you for the update. I have been thinking of him, and you. You have given Odie the best life. It is so hard when they get old, I went through it all recently with my old girl, but every moment is magic really, as they are such treasured souls. Hugs to you both. xx

While Odie has lost his vision on one side, he is still very content and happy. Interesting that you visited both Glasgow and Edinburgh as possible location to settle with Odie. Give yourself and Odie a real treat and consider 200 miles further north, he will thank you for it. The beaches, the unspoiled walks and of course the sheep. We have some wonderful vets in the Highlands, especially around Inverness. Hugs to you both.

What a beautiful person you are living the life you want and sharing with another beautiful soul. Hope he’s ok, he will be simply by living with you.

Loosing my dog's is the one thing i absolutely dread and they are both now getting on. I think the love we have for them is so deep that it must feel like you are the only person in the world hurting. Reading the messages you get on here is heartwarming though and to know that stranger's " feel" what you are going through must bring a little peace. Carry on doing what you are doing with your boy and one day i truly think when we go our souls will reunite in some way or form ( i hope anyway)..love to you both xxxx

Just love him. My cat is really old and has health issues. My vet said there is a surgery but he probably would not survive it because of his age. Odie just needs love and it's obvious that he means the world to you. 💖
