Poor host... I can't even watch to the end... Ktn should just let her be behind the scene ama atafutiwe kazi ya ku interrogate criminals huko kwa court Nkt... Shaffie you are my hero
Dear, Shafie, You may never read this comment, however I'd like to make a few comments. 1. When we lose our values system, we lose our identity, as women and society. 2. When we (women) become too readily available, we get diseases and illegitimate children 3. Create dysfunctional societies, by destroying our structures and value system. 4. Then, we trully have a huge problem as a society. I know you issued an apology, i wish we women, would listen would stop and think about our morals. We women shd STOP being SO READILY AVAILABLE!
You are not communicating to women / girls who are abused by the people who they know. And both men and women have made the society to be where it is now. Blaming women will do NOTHING.
@@m.wangare9087 My father taught me stranger danger. This was a case of abuse perpetrated by a stranger, lets not shift the goal post to make the narrative fit. When its abuse perpetrated by someone known to the victim, then we deal with that. Its not victim or women blaming. Reality is Men don't get pregnant etc, therefore the onus is on us women if we start with solid functional families or broken families. We need to have morals and values.
@@imaradeng954 So are you going to use pregnancy reasons to put all responsibilities on women? That is why abortion needs to be legal. Again, lucky you have a father, but some girls have been sexually abused by their fathers , so stranger danger teaching doesn't work. How many scenarios will you people come up with, whenever GBV happens, and the "too available, too loose " reasons doesn't apply? Seriously, nothing being said about some men lack of self control, Culture, toxic male masculinity, which are the things that make them be violent towards women and if we have that conversation, they will be better people?
Catherine used to be just the producer of ktn's so many programs, especially the morning ones. now someone came and lied to her that she can also be a host. my sister, you are a behind-the-scenes person, kindly.
Yooo the point was to here Shaffie Werus side of the story and listen to him not judge him according to what you know anyway. The fact that Shaffie has new doors opening always goes to show even when things act against you whenever life hits you GOD IS THE ONLY KNE WHO'S GOT YOU. I love the fact that he says he's LEARNT and WILL AND IS MOVING FORWARD.
Shaffie is legit and real, many won't get him because of being fake. We live and learn, maintain the frame. The interviewer could use some turn-taking.
She was excellent, staying on topic and not allowing her self to be convinced/brainwashed by this man. That's the part that is intimidating most of you. I don't expect you to see that , because you are Shaffi's fan, and his words are always true. The way you love him, is like the way we love our Politicians. They never do wrong and must never be accountable
@@m.wangare9087 that's ur opinion, ofcos ladies want to have the last words, even when something is so open u still refuse to open ur eyes and accept...fyi I'm not a fan of Shaffie. U can't compare such conversations with others, it's one sided and the host is trying to intimidate Shaffie but she's not successful
@@dannytosh When Shafi and his people were fired, everything about this case was successful. You are just one of those men who are bitter about everything, provided there's a lady involved
@@m.wangare9087 all this was planned, so as to bring boychild down, but Shaffie is strong than before and will still rise up...even after apologizing (though I never saw anything to apologize to) the girlchild still continue to pin him down... don't judge someone out of hatred or attitude...btw, I'm not bitter about nothing, I follow many programs and shows hosted by ladies (Vikie Rubadiri, Lilian Muli, Smirti, Joyce Omondi, Yvone Okwara, Grace, Masawe Japani, Wilbroda, Mercy Mmbone, Kamene, Kwambox, Lulu Hasan, Mashirima)the list can go on. @@m.wangare9087 am a host to.as a professional you are not supposed to massage your ego but you are required to look for answers..we really wanted to know how Shaffie felt about the guy who did the wrong act but she dint let him talk his mind on that point.she just wanted to justify Shaffie was on the wrong side which she was looking at .she really didn’t care about the other side.its so sad some people with great platform don’t know how to use it positively...
Attentive Listening is a skill.Sharpen it.This is the first interview he’s been on since the incident and you have spoiled it for everyone because you my dear is unable to ask the right questions and listen without prejudice goddammit!!!

@@m.wangare9087 he was called there to say his side of the story and every one is entitled to their opinion. if you think she will be brain washed she should have had a personal interview with herself
Nobody tells me shaffie did wrong .....he just aired his opinion the wrong way....buh in truth, both girls and boys need to be educated on life matters to avoid all this problems happening....the truth is bitter .
I have so much to say abt this interview. First of all, the interviewer did a whack job. You need to improve on your interviewing skills. 2ndly, am happy that Shaffie has acknowledged that he did make a mistake. 3rdly, Shaffie made a point that really stood out to me. He asked how come this situation has not been used as an opportunity to speak up and teach the boychild about gender-based violence & rape? It seems Kenyans focused on "punishing" Shaffie and the 2 guys, n then went back to living their lives. I don't think that is the solution. I think we need to start teaching our young boys and girls about rape n how to protect themselves. In fact, I wish it can be a mandatory class in primary schools. I also wish there can be mandatory trainings/workshops in the corporates, parastatals, all institutions. I say this because I worked in a big, well-known institution for a few years, and not once did we ever have a training on sexual harassment/rape/genderbased violence.
Am a girl but ukweli usemwe shaffie was not wrong young girls are so loose nowadays. If u go to the lions den be ready for the consequences. Before you agree to meet a man in his house just know there is nothing for free you will either pay with your private parts or life. Ladies be wise first .
I think shaffie weru talked about the issue the way it supposed to be talked about. Sometimes it is supposed to be teachable moment. Atleast, they would have made the issue even better. Obama once said, cancel culture isn't activism.
Hang in there Shaffie. God is breaking down our lives so that He can build something more stable, reliable and sure. The world is being shaken, and the only place of refuge is in God. Evil seems to be winning, but it's just a delusion; a trap that many are unaware of. Be grateful that God is drawing your attention, and grab on to Him with every fibre in your being, because the time is here when evil will fall, and so are those holding on to it. Forgiveness is mostly needed when the situation seems unforgivable and faith is required when we can't see or understand. We are in the times of Jonah, comfortably sleeping in the bottom deck of the ship (having fun in unrighteousness), unaware of the raging death storm. Jonah was woken up by the ship captain so that he could pray, and God is waking up many to run to Him and not look back, but many are not listening. Jonah heeded the wake up call, and prayed. The prayer and accepting that he had wronged God (repentance); touched God's heart to extend mercy. Like Jonah, we (humanity) have been sent to love God by keeping His commandments, and to love one another, but each one of us have disobeyed and gone their own way. God is waking us up, to return to Him in repentance. Shall we continue to sleep in unrighteousness, or will we heed the call and run to God? Everyone has a choice; to choose God/good/life or to choose satan/evil/death. Each one will stretch our hands and choose. Let's choose wisely; let's choose good.
That's beside the point@@m.wangare9087 , myself personally I wouldn't want my girlfriend to be afraid of me because then, she will be enslaved to me and then, i really won't get to be with someone who is herself but a version of what I make her to be. That is the reason why many women, are held up and tied to abusive relationship in the name of I have to fear my husband. Fear in a relationship is totally wrong. It takes away ones ability to be themselves in that relationship. Only compromise should suffice where fear exists.
Catherine's not being objective. For channels like Tuko, that would be okay, but for KTN, it's unacceptable. Don't be an advocate for the girl, let the facts speak for themselves.
She was excellent, staying on topic and not allowing her self to be convinced/brainwashed by this man. That's the part that is intimidating most of you. shaffie said nothing wrong.... he just said the truth and it was bitter for the people who took it wrong or it reflected on them. dont apologize for anything there is nothing to apologize
@@m.wangare9087 thats true but shaffie has no power... He got fired quick fast after working in the organisation for years... If he had any power he would not have been fired...but we digress
It's not what he said, ots how he said it n the problem is, he's sitting at a position of influence so he has to be careful with how he put his words. Personally, I didnt like the way he talked on the radio
She's already convinced herself that you are a villain bro. Her attitude in the interview makes me cringe. Total waste of your time. plus they cut some parts out...
This interviewer is full of BS. How does the interviewer talk that much in an interviewee tell-their-story interview? And she already had an opinion before the interview.
The Host is another feminist....full of emotions just like the others....just look at her face... she want s to force an apology down shaffies throught....twisting and coxing gears out of shaffies statements,unfortunately..shaffie is not the guy....let her try dj mfalme..... Shaffie ain't your ordinary simp.
If this issue is in court, why talk at all? Anything you say will be used against you. This host is actually exuding feminist tendencies.. those trap words.. those tactics..
I don't think Shaffie said anything wrong. Parents use the same words to warn kids, how often do you hear don't do this and that you will end up like so and so. Ladies don't want to be told the reality.
@@m.wangare9087 the reality for men is stop spending money on women with expectation that that equals to sex. And that goes to women too, don't give the man false hope.
The fundamental issue here isn't that each person needs to err on the side of caution. As you've mentioned, that's a fact. The problem is saying that a thing happened because of the victim. In reality, being available in itself doesn't make or cause another person to harm. It only puts you in the vicinity. The reality is that a lot of careful people still end up getting hurt or killed, which is why we also need to shape the minds of men to make it clear that those actions are not acceptable. I think that's why a lot of abusers like the phrase, "you made me do it." How? Who held up your hand? Abuse and harm are choices. I hope you get what I mean...
I have a little girl I love dearly but Shaffie did nothing wrong.both boys and girls need to quit being readily available! Everyone is entitled to their opinion, she just wants to hear what she wants from shaffie #wajingasisi
The lady did very well with this interview because she was trying to get the answers the people wanted to know. We all wanted to know what he thinks or his view on women. Let’s not judge him and time will tell.....
@@m.wangare9087 that's different ofcourse, leaders have been the worst and should be accountable for what they do ,but Kenyans are not ready for that .
And not every human has a platform that reaches millions of people. He is not like you. He has the power to influence how people think. It would have been a chance for him to educate both sexes about consent, safety while meeting strangers and GBV. Instead, he chose to be sensational and simplify a serious situation.
They want to cancel a man for speaking the truth. The host on the other hand was triggered and threw in her feelings without considering logic. There's nothing like insensitivity here. There's always two sides of a story, You cant be walking in a dangerous neighborhood with a thousand bob in your hand waving it, then blame people for being robbed. Women should protect themselves against these vices.
yes there is something like sensitivity. I can't believe you want to normalize toxicity in our radio stations. Let him do that at his own radio station
@@m.wangare9087 The word ''toxicity'' is always thrown around without any context. It only becomes sensitive when its a woman involved. The world owes no one understanding. Responsibility is individual
The host is horrible, interruptions, attitude and miss know it all. Shaffie is knowledgeable and got his points clear, the host can’t listen and talks too much. Terrible
Boyshaud under sieke... shaffie is responsible of what he says not what other people understand,in this country one can suffer coz of being male gender
The (feminist) host is all over places with her questions and does not understand the importance of taking turns, she was armed with her preconceived notions which she wanted to force them on Shaffie, missing classes in your course is detrimental to your career,,Shaffie don't explain yourself too much, there is nothing wrong with what you said .
