Just in! My visa got approved yesterday!! What do they get out of not allowing people to enter especially students (F1) who have genuine academic background who have paid the application fee, approach professors for all the letter of recommendations and answer all the many tedious questions asked by university, gave an interview with the Dean of the department ,pay enrollment deposit, pay sevis fee and pay visa fee (which is expensive and not a small deal) when they want immigrants and take 50,000 DVS every year with lower qualifications anyway. Strict Stupid interviews. There's no logic /common sense. The educated people are the ones who will help the country's economy better actually . Doesn't make sense.

Hi! I was denied twice before and I'll try again for the 3rd time after 7 months (my last appointment was on February). In that span of time I got promoted to a higher position so I was thinking to include this in my answer if asked. So in case I will be asked "What has changed after my 2nd denial of visa", aside from the promotion, can I mention personal changes? (e.g. bought a car for the first time). Hello, I have kind of a funny case: I came to the United States as a tourist, got some experiences and opportunities so I apply to change my status to a student one (which was easier to do in America since in my home country there isn’t a us embassy at the moment). Now I have been approved for the duration of my career but out of my ignorance I didn’t know that I would need to get my visa stamped in some Us consulate if I ever wanted to go out and comeback (which I want, since I want to see my family and my home). So what’s the advice that you would give me to get my visa stamped (which I hopefully will)? I guess that I have to prepare myself for an interview just like anybody else, then for the us consulate I have the one that is closer to my home country where they must have more background of my fellow Venezuelans or I could go to Vancouver where actually will be cheaper since I’m closer to there and I have family who can support my stay while I get my visa stamped or interview. Anyway, I feel is kind of weird my situation. I’d still probably start classes and postpone my home trip for next year. As Us VO (once again) what’s your advice for this case. Thanks in advance 😅.

Hello Agro, I got denied the 2nd attempt on 9th May cause the VO wasn’t convinced why my Uncle would be paying my deficit of $6000 while I have been working. I’m preparing for my 3rd attempt within the shortest possible time and would be changing my sponsor to myself(personal funds). Would that be a problem to next VO. And what are the likely question the VO can ask about the change in sponsor and how well do I answer why I change to myself?

Visa officer refused visa to my friend parents because she caame here on B1B2 and applied for work permit and stayed here for 8 years now. So when they went to the office for the interiew the first question they were asked who did your application, It was their son who is in USA. they asked for his details and they could not provide any as he did not send anything to his parents. They rejected the visa they are now applying for trhe visa again. What can we do differently. His parents have a business back home and they have properties. We did for 8 members initially and now we are going to do for just 2 members will it help ? please help us to avoid refusal. does it matter they son came here and stayed in the US for a long time. but this documents are being processed in USCIS.
