Whilst at the death bed of my dear husband 4/25/2020, he gifted me such profound greatness. He taught me in complete silence not to fear death and that God is there if you put your trust in Him. I do this via 🙏 every day since. Be not afraid sayeth the scripture multiple times. 🤗 ❤
God is there whether or not you put your trust in Him or not. The indwelling of God the Holy Spirit. Is a gift from God the Father, not a reward for us making good choices. Roman's 3 explains this. 11:42
Psalm 23:4 "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."

Gosh - there are moments in life when 'narrative' and 'objective' touch - they are moments when eternity meets the present - when heaven meets earth. Then in those moments we face a choice...
I had that a few times in life, which resulted in a very strong narrative being put forward. So far, for me, that has always been about other people then myself. It seems no one wants to know, but I can tell you this. The more something hurts, the more I want to know it, and the more I come to know about it. Pain leads to knowledge, and if we throw that away, we will throw away what makes us human
I suspect Daniel 2: 40-43 is a sophisticated metaphor for the ten toes of the digital technocracy having feet of clay. And Vigano gave a valid warning about a virtual reality like the Matrix. But I caution that Vigano was wrong about Vatican II. I believe Vatican II was sung to the motion of the Holy Spirit, a sacrifice of praise sung in the frequency of Abel's voice.

Psychology inevitably fails b/c in the face of pain we don't want analysis, reason, or explanation. All we want to hear is that we are loved & it will be okay. God bless you, doc (and Jonathan).
Absolutely None of us are strong at all things. But we are all weak at some things. I may be strong enough to help others, but for me to do that, there must be weak people for me to help. And I must not be too proud to ask for help when I'm weak at something. People who believe they are strong all the time. Their weakness is often an unwillingness to accept any weakness in themselves... they often don't recognise that that is a weakness. The pride some derive from being strong can leave them unable to admit they could use some help, but especially if it means accepting help from any they may have mocked for being weak. Mocking the weak is unfortunately not rare.
11 Corinthians 12:10. When we become “weak” or surrender we step aside so Christ can reign through us then we become strong for it is no longer I but Him calling the shots. I quit blocking His power when I let go and let God
I'm glad you have brought that to light. I was going to mention it, but I'm so glad that you did. Thank you, friend. Blessings to you and your family. Hope and Believe. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊.
I experienced this profoundly and they called me schizophrenic, locked me in a psych ward until my spirit was crushed, and dosed me on heavy duty anti-psychotics unfortunately. I'm not schizophrenic, my spirit is not crushed, and I no longer take those zombie-inducing meds. Christ is King.
The terror we feel at accepting Christ has an immediate corresponding opposite Joy given to the one who humbles himself and steps into the seeming abyss.
I have never known a Christian who ever felt terror (which is a disturbing adjective) in the process of accepting Christ, the belief in God our Father almighty and the Holy Spirit! It’s generally always something you desire, and he’s always there if you just let him in!
I feel the tearful point Jordan hits here. There comes a point when we experience Jesus Christ in our lives that overthrows all our preconceived notions while at the same time touching our deepest desire. It wrecks you in a wonderful way. There's no one like Jesus, because he is God. All our being is designed to be fully and completely satisfied in Him. We feel so stupid for ever thinking of going to another spring after we have been known by Jesus, but the pain of this life is that we all do. One day there will be no opposition within us or without us, and we will see Christ face to face. It's the most beautiful reality known to mankind. We search the farthest reaches of space looking for signs of life when the One who holds it in his palm is here with us. We are commanded to but look at Jesus Christ as our hope, to believe, even with the faintest most pathetic amount of faith a human can generate, and we will be welcomed into a world no categories can capture.
Anyone who can genuinely reveal their true self on the Internet earns my respect. And, at my advanced age, I've found that it's easy to tell the real ones from the fake ones.
Accepting Jesus Christ is not terrifying it's life changing for the good. The love and healing he is giving is undescribable. To only one who is resisting is fear and the attachment of worldly things. If Jesus knocks on your door I would say open the door and let him in ❤
Of course it's terrifying. If you don't have faith in Him, then you are asking a person to crossover into letting go of their only whisps of sanity to believe completely in Jesus. And to do that, is to let go of everything in the world.
The fear of God. The point of realization that there is a power greater than any earthy power out there. A power that you will never be able to contend with. God has no anxiety nor fear nor worry . He owns us in the flesh and in the spirit . Our faith that he has it all under control should supercede our own brand of discernment

No one knows if there is or isn’t a God, including you. It’s a concept, an ideal , an idea of perfection . How do YOU know "no one knows" ? I f anything, it seems you are the one attached to a particular conception of world where no one can know God.
Who or what is God? And how do you know who or what is God? Monotheism isn’t the only concept of God . There are other concepts . I imagine the only thing you can come up with is whatever Christian doctrine says bc that’s what youve been immersed in and are emotionally attached to . But again, that’s a conception of the concept of God . Islam doesn’t agree with you nor does Judaism nor Hinduism nor any other religion for that matter and its interpretation of the concept of God. If you claim God is all powerful all knowing and all loving , then you run into a big problem . So explain who or what God is according to you

What Jordan Peterson said in the first two minutes was so red hot filled with meaning, an authentic experience in real time/moment! So his words reminded me of something I read by Rudolf Steiner more than twenty years ago, and I don't remember verbatim, but essentially Steiner was talking about the impossibility of the awakened nature of Christ in us surviving more than three years, given the public perception of his ( Jesus* ) time and in principle, the difficulty of the request for this presence and self statement. Perhaps social orders silence the possibility for the soul to experience its own presence truthfully and unforced, yet mature and responsible. Thanks to Jordan Peterson for the courage!
If there's one thing that's convinced me there's more to existence than the observable physical world, it's synchronicity. I've experienced it many times over the years through music, passages of text, and other seemingly non-causal encounters in daily life. Whether it points to a God, or a fundamentally dream-like quality of reality I'm not yet sure.
Dr. Peterson, I hold a great respect to you as a man who tries to stand up for your views and beliefs, however, every time I hear you talk about Jesus and get in touch with Him, you seem to be so scared, worried and abnoxious and you always say I don't know what to make of that. My dear, you dont need to do anything, but let Him help you grasp it. I am afraid that the consequences of coming face to face with the Christ are what is holding you back from embracing the only Truth in this fallen world. Please, don't let pride between Him and you. Dr. Peterson, humility is the key to see the clear picture rather than a blurry one. God only reveals Himself fully when man is putting a side their ego and surrender to God declaring they are done here. God bless you 🙏❤
You are right, thank you for the wise words. Humility would be a big step in the right direction. Let time tell where Mister Peterson chooses to fall 🤔
Your conscience is not your own. Your thoughts are not your own. You experience thought the same way you experience reality and your conscience, which is split in two, is the manifestation within yourself of the universal good and bad that controls reality and helps or hinders your path towards the experience youre supposed to have.
I thank God for Dr. Peterson’s eloquence and curiosity. He helped me unpack all the things I knew that I did not know I knew. He helped me accept the complexities of life and of this world through Jesus’ teachings. God bless and more power to you Dr.Peterson!🙏
Your conscience will call you out on your behavior, but not everyone necessarily heeds to their conscience as a mode of operating in the world. We've all encountered legitimate narcissists and sociopaths who gladly dispense with their moral compass for instrumental gain.
I think many politicians don't simply ignore their conscience, they have what JP described, Their conscience pats them on the back no matter how terrible they behave.
My mother was full blown narcissist, and what I came to realize with her, was she was able to change the narrative in her own mind. For example: I was hit by a car when I was eleven years old, my mother wasn't there when it happened, she was at work, and my father I believe was out of town. When she came to the ER, she was terrified that it would some how reflect badly on her, she said a lot of wack stuff, and was ashamed and embarrassed of me, and at some point afterword she told me we were going to forget the whole thing, and me being a dutiful daughter, I did, for 30 years! When I remembered some of the details I asked her about it. Like when she brought me home, and the neighbor (who had witnessed the accident,) came running over to offer to carry me into the house, my mother said to him "Oh, she's too fat!" which wasn't true, but when I saw his reaction to her I internalized it. I asked her if she remembered saying that, and she said "Oh no, they brought you home in the ambulance!" Like in what world did that ever happen?! In her inner world. But I was with her when she died, and at one point, she was talking to the spirit world for over 13 hours. She was oblivious to anyone else in the room, and then fell into a coma, while in tachycardia (her heart was beating over 200 beats per minute,) that lasted for six days before she finally passed. It was a deeply spiritual experience.
Joshua 1:9." Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Praying for you Jordan Peterson ❤
An oldie, but heck of a goodie. The callback is often very resounding when we the audience know the foretelling character development in the whole arch of this story, this friendship, this legendary story...
When manufactured phycology tries to examine GOD and Jesus all we get is fear of truth due to lack of FAITH your a true believer or not there is no gray area in faith.
The terror is the doorway in the darkness. The dark place is familiar, known, and measured, but the light is painfully overwhelming, unknown, and impossible to measure. You have an idea of what good things are in the light but you can't see it while you're adapted to the dark. You can't know what's waiting until you go through. So can you muster your courage and set aside doubts to step out and find out if the promised peace is there? I hope Dr. Peterson can.
The secret of wisdom is to listen to many opinions. There's wisdom in many counselors. The greatest teaching is in the books of wisdom in the Bible. Job, Psalms, Proverbs and Ecclesiastes.
I have an idea about time and duration. I think that the objective rate of time is a lot slower than we percieve. Maybe not slower, but different. Think of each moment in time as a boxcar with no fourth wall. Time is pulling all these boxcars along, passing in front of your vision. Not just our physical vision, but *the amount of data we can consciously process.* Our eyes take in everything inside the boxcar. Our subconscious filters out everything it deems unimportant. We consciously acknowledge, like, 30% of what's in each moment. Like shining a flashlight in a dark room. _So we feel only 30% of time passing._
Many times sleep equals death. This part of Christ’s life mirrors when Moses goes up the mountain and the Israelites indulged in revelry. The levites killed 3000 that day.

It is becoming one with Jesus. More intimate the more you grasp it. He is reality and infallibly safe to trust to unlimited depth. Years ago, though I’d accepted him as a small child, I feared screwing up and feared the cross. Then I heard inside, “Why would it scare you that I love you so much?” He is more than one could ask, think, or hope for.
" Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!" Professor Jordan as Paul have felt and seen the real reality of the spiritual world through a keyhole, hopefully as Paul got knocked off his high horse to meet with our Savior, Mr Peterson would find the same grace.

I like to think this is all part of God's general MO. He loves creating people like Jordan who are superficially failures because WHY DON'T YOU JUST COMMIT ALREADY??? simply so He can use them to bear witness to His Glory in action by slowly cutlivating the deepest good from the intense conflict. If it means Jordan only officially converts when he's old and dying, then thats just more time for God to use that struggle of belief in the public eye for the sake of gaining even more souls.

Here's an idea: God is the collective unconscious of all Earthlife. As in, the individual living cells within your body all form a gigantic hivemind with a singular consciousness: you. Why not the same pattern at the macro level? Instead of thinking of God as the creator, why not instead think of Him as the sum total of all life's experiences. And as Earthlife grew and multiplied, so did this storehouse of knowledge. And maybe your unconscious mind can tune in on this frequency, consult this knowledge, and know, based on the experience of everyone else, what paths are deadly or fruitful?
Your cells live and die many times over in a lifetime. If you cut off your arm you haven't damaged whatever "you" are in your head. Whatever the thing is that thinks of you as you is somewhere much deeper. I hesitate to use the word soul because it's so common we just throw it around without really considering what it is. A concept so large it's almost paradoxical that it is contained with so small a physical body. We're like walking singularitys.
What you describe here isn’t God. It would be a superconsciousness emerging from a collection of minds, which is not God. That’s just the collective unconscious. Yet, this collective unconscious seems to have a direction to it. (Very terrifying to think about). I believe God steers us through this.
@@Ethan_Frost I like how you so authoritatively insist that's not God, when none of us have any proof of what God IS. How unworthy you are and how much forgiveness it acquires for the Life of the Christ to say How innocent and Pure and set apart are you! Jesus Christ really lived, was crucified, and rose from the grave, and still lives on because He is God and He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Jordan, give your life to Him - submit to the one true God.
God has always taken on the suffering of us all since the old testament because when we transgress, its against his very kingdom thats within us all. All he's asked for is accountability since genesis. OT and NT is the same story.
It’s so spiritual and terrifying. When I gave my life back to Christ it was after my dog was taken and sentenced to death. I was young and he was my wife and my “First”. I branded my arm deeply with the collar ring he had broken to protect our yard from what he viewed as an intruder because of my young and incorrect ways of teaching him. Anyways, after the branding I struggled to hang the Cross back on the wall. The nail wouldn’t penetrate and the pounding and sparks from the nail seemed like thunder and lightening. A few days later my two buddies and I visited Mt. Rainier for camping. On the way we noticed a triangle shape light pattern above our vehicle and pacing us for many miles. As we approached the camp spot on the secluded eastern side of Mt. Rainier everything became fuzzy. We all have the same memory and memory loss. The next morning we were greeted by the military
Mister Jordan,I don' t need any proof of Christ existance.Cause I am a Christian! ❤🙏Eventhough I was baptized since birth,as Orthodox Christian,it was a long journey until I really became Christian.Long and hard journey! But I' m home,now! 😊
I love the connection here. Please know we all struggle with the act of consciously knowing Christ as one amoung us, but He must be. Eating and drinking amoung us, makes acceptance of the Holy Life possible. We need only believe, the seed is designed to break the earth in your heart and take root. However, you may have a principle in the way. Each of us a cross of our own, each of us in struggle. Solomon and Job have much to teach. An Ancient Faith Bible helps.
The Hindus were onto something they reckon Christ was an Avatar of God on Earth so basically God was working through Jesus to experience what it was like to be Human his own creation and to free Mankind from the evil of Sin and defeat the Devil.
This is exactly what I believe. That Jesus was a man and god/source/divine or whatever you want to call it sent him to show us the way. And this is why Jesus encouraged us not to judge each other, forgive each other and love each other.. it's not easy being human. I think we try to intellectualise everything these days to our detriment. My belief is the Trinity (Father, son and holy spirit) is The mind, the Heart and the Spirit and we won't be whole until we use all three together.
Jordan you must understand the mission of Jesus as the Messiah as Deuteronomy 18:18, as John 20:31, Jesus impersonated his Father, who spoke through him by the Spirit.
Creator can exist in many respects both within and outside time space…. And you’re correct we don’t know what to do with time, we’re very bad at time management and what to do or not with time sometimes on this plane of existence.
Jordan needs to keep in mind he's a genius.... God's ways are above our ways tho Good for you you have a high level of thought Even the lowest genuine Christian has wisdom above intellectualism tho
This the confrontation with the meaning of existence. We are characters in a story made about Him. Essentially, recognition of this truth is akin to breaking the 4th wall.
Christ saves souls…period. Full stop. He does not merely provide an opportunity to be saved from His Fathers judgment upon us; but He saves those whom He loves. Otherwise, His actions would be subject to our decisions and NOT the His own….if that were true, He would NOT be God.
ive seen this before and remember it was one of the first podcasts that came out after jordan got sick. this is why i was disappointed that the organizer of the event where JBP and zizek had a convo set the topic for marxism when christianity was really the more profoundly interesting direction those two could go to. as a zizek main myself, listening to peterson give an account of moments of the real and symbolic reach their full potential of engagement in christ i wonder why he often criticizes peterson when this talk is proof that peterson is a german idealist at heart
Not close. Right judgement of man. Your corner stone is alcohol judgement. The stone that the builders rejected has become the corner stone of what you do not know exists.
What you call conscience is the Light of Christ. God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ are the source of immutable truth and they have provided a way for us to sense it. Only by repeatedly ignoring that sense do we lose it!
I was not a religous person at all and then I became psychotic and themes all had to deal with Christ and Anti-Christ. I also experienced a synchronicity. There was a narrative all of a sudden.
