Chovy tried doing that with a better comp and an insanely fed, scaling carry and positioned like shit. Let's not even talk the tank Azir game. Chovy was insane for 2 games and good for 2 more. Faker showed he's more useful outside laning phase than Chovy and more clutch in general. Destroyed? Not even close. Faker and Chovy showed out, each with a lackluster game.
I dont think most people understood how detailed faker played this. Azir e gains a soldier charge only when you hit an enemy champion, so he e > flash, reset auto and position + instantly put down two soldiers. Making it having 100% more soldier compared to his normal state(2 soldiers). He's literally doing the most amount Azir could possibly deal in theory at that split second.

I didn't even know that's possible until I read this and faker pulled off that within a split second. I'm emerald and I watch high rank streams regulary but have NEVER seen anything like this.
@markvincent1305 hwei isn't that complex though? Once you get some practice you can get any of his abilities out, and knowing what combo to use is not that hard in most situations. Most of Hwei's difficulty comes from his unique controls and vulnerability.

He very well might have if he flashed to the side instead of backwards, since Chovy's Phos Bomb was coming down on that spot (Chovy cast it before Faker even dashed forward though, so a bit unfortunate that Faker flashed back into it) - not that that was remotely predictable, Faker was literally on 1000 APM in that moment.
Nah because if that was a penta they could've gotten the elder and won that game. But Faker was already carrying the combined weight of his topside, what more can this man do? He was pulling miracles that game 😭

It honestly could've been a Penta. Which would've been a moment on par with his Zed outplay. If he focused on hitting Chovy from the start and set soldiers to hit everyone else, it was a wipe
We all know that Faker learned that E forward trick to do damage from Poby when he took a break from injury. Poby uses E forward to gain shield and trade more damage even if it puts him at melee range to his opponent.
I think people who seem to put Gen.G on a huge pedastal over T1 coming into MSI forget... from this play, if Oner got the smite in the following elder fight, T1 won this series 3-0.
@@siorai2089 I would actually say Knight is Nr.1 right now and was overall the best mid last year. He almost golden roaded and got MVP of LPL this spring.
How can he be best mid last year if he never had any play synonymous to what Faker did multiple times against multiple different teams? Knight is good no doubt, but to place him above Chovy and Faker is just nuts. @victorjegreus6426
@@samuel-nq6he ye he's full build, and fairs to him, but it's still pretty insane how he just solo one shot an entire team in 4 seconds, he didn't even do anything too insane, he just ulted them and right clicked, in fact if he hadn't E'd he would've probably survived too, even if he would've killed them a bit slower, but since Kalista got one shot in the first second they had no ranged champion to actually damage Faker there
@@testbug01 you're not on copium, straight up on drugs. Kiin only did well in 1 and 5th game, Chovy gapped Faker every game. He was always up in gold by atleast 3k

But this is not even a good play but just completely showing how broken Azir is. Azir was hard caught, E'd into them and instantly flashed out to just destroy them with his soldiers. Obviously Faker making such a weird play just for the sake of doing it (using E to gain a slight shield and then flashing out) only looks good in hindsight because his soldiers got that many kills. He 3 taps a fucking Rumble... I get that this is end game but jesus christ man what a disgusting champion that has everything yet has no weakness and barely has an actual "hard counter"
Stop. Faker azir built full damage build with that much items(usually azir don't build that much of a full dmg build but he did it to carry the team), his e in creates an extra sand soldier so 4 sand soldiers were spawned in total, he maximizes his full damage potential in that high pressure sequence where it's a 2v5 (basically a 1v5 because poppy was useless and did nothing at that play) and takes down 4 of them. It's a great play against possibly one of the best teams in the world in a high pressyre situation in a 15000 crowd arena, don't downplay it to 'Azir is broken'. Have you seen Azirs do that? No.
Haven't seen this play in any stream from any other player. Can you link 10 scenarios with this in the past 5 or 8 years so we can see how easy it is to pull off and guarantee a teamfight win?

Yeah everyone played insane this series if I as lpl I would be scared going into MSI against this T1 and Gen G only Zeus had a slightly bad game 5 and keria slightly bad game 1 the rest was pure insane outplays.
