I remember I was a having difficulties with that one junction with frost (forgot which) and I asked if someone could help me (this was my first time asking for help) and this veteran had helped me by trading a mod that does poison damage and I destroyed frost, me and him are still friends

I've been playing Warframe for half a year now and I honestly never thought twice about the fanbase being toxic, which honestly speaks for itself now that you've mentioned it. It's just a genuinely fun game to play with such a calm community. And I still can't believe this game was free 😂

Honestly, it is the best community ever. I've found annoying people who talk smack or get annoyed because you're not strong enough like once a year at most. Players don't mind carrying you if you are not good enough yet. It's what basically kept me on the game. Even when someone does say something mean, I've seen other players stand up to them. And now that I'm getting better and better, I get to repay and pass on that kindness

Be careful the train man may send you a crap tone of your least favourite warframe and 100 plat

As more or less a veteran myself by now, I started helping new players and my friends a lot more. There is nothing else I could do, so I enjoy the company and seeing them happy or impressed by what they do in game.

I remember back in like 2015, when I started playing, I had just started on Mercury and was having a tough time with it. This high level player insisted on helping me through the whole planet. That’s when I knew the Warframe community was much better than any other community I had been apart of.

Can confirm. I was new at the game and grinded mesa prime parts before realizing one of the parts was like unobtainable anymore or something. When I asked the global chats about it, some players immediately messaged me to give me the part. I thought they were trying to sell it for lots of plats or something but nah, they gave it for free. I offered them some stuff but they insists on accepting it so yeah, now I'm a happy mesa player.

I've been playing warframe solo for about two months now out of fear of what the community could be like. I'm super happy I saw this video and now need to go learn more about the game and mostly how to trade through some other players... I've been using blueprints for everything and it's driving me crazy.

Literally the best community to be a part of I got Christmas presents from my clan just because I interacted with them and made it an enjoyable experience. It wasn’t just any gifts either they gave me a chroma prime and khora blueprint plus a skin for chora I was literally so happy and I couldn’t thank them enough

Once a MR 2 guy was asking in Recruit Chat for help getting an Argon Crystal for his Kubrow incubator. Lets just say he got a team doing the warframe equivalent of having 3 FBI agents escort a 4 year old to get some ice cream. His response was "AWESOME I cant wait to have a Kubrow" that kind of stuff is so gratifying.

I know it’s been a year since this vid came out but I watched it then and I remember being the newbie volt watching guys insta clear rooms that would take me ages , I’ve come far enough that I’m now the one clearing rooms and helping the newbies.

I pop into Warframe from time to time and I have consistently been amazed how positive the community has stayed despite the lengthy duration of the game. I've lost count of the times people have offered me open trades to just hand me whatever item I was curious about and teach me how to use it. I am fairly stubborn though and dont like just being handed things, so I really appreciate the fact that I can ask for help with anything and multiple voices will speak up, any time of day.

I love how welcoming and helpful the community is, recently I had wanted to start a playthrough on PC, and sadly couldn't use my maxed out xbox account, so I started out new and thought it would be fun to see how it went and how the community would treat new players, and I can say that everyone is very helpful and nice, almost always being able to find one person who can help on that one mission you just can't do or just really don't like. Even the owner of the clan I'm in helped me get over 3k plastids so I could make my wukong frame! I always suggest this game to anyone when I get the chance just because of how much I love it and it's community, not to mention the wonderful and funny small jokes warframe has been putting in recently, like the cetus server 69 and the new frame Sevagoth being a whole ass jojo reference, with a pose to go with his store page.

I think the most positive thing on the warframe community is the community itself, experienced players helping new players, sharing information, sharing resources. Like the majority of the players, some experienced random guy helps you do some mission, or gives you some relics, really sticks whit you and I do the same when I encounter new players.

my two experiences: "sure I'll help you/stay longer to do that bonus objective" And: Just not responding to chat at all, and remaining in the extraction zone while you and 1-2 other players are trying to finish a bonus objective like Stalker, glassmaker or anything else untill you get forcibly extracted by those mofo's.

Honestly the community is madly supportive, I'm a returning player and it's like I never left, people's attitude just seems to be positive in general :)

The best thing is about community are memes, I said on global "all hail lord clem" and like 10 people started saying "hail" "clem" "clem grataka" "welcome the lord clem" "pray for clem" "clem is life". Its one of my warmest memories i have with games.

Oh yeah I love the community, honestly, it was a ton of fun to just trade with people and make friends. I don't get why everyone is like that but because everyone was I mained as Wisp because I liked to heal them. To be honest I didn't know how to make a good build so I just did what I could to help. 10/10 community nothing better

This community has sub communities, and oddity in the playerbase. One oddity is a player who has over a thousand hours played and has yet to go up in mastery rank. but if you ever end up in fortuna 69, tell schmedley(fortuna 69 poster child) i said hi. -OnlyTheOperator

My only true gripe with this game as a whole is the enemy weapon tracking. You could be as fast as the flash and round about six corners and still get hit by a bombards missile. Other than that, everything is just fine.

There have been rough patches, but just like the video states, they're between the developers/community managers and the community. Hopefully we never see more of those and things smooth over, but I doubt that'll happen any time soon. You also never mentioned how veteran players tend to take newbies under their wing. I personally have done that 4 times and it's nice to see them grow up ingame. Warframe is terrible at teaching new players the things they need to know, but the community has taken that up on their own shoulders and they've been all the better for it. Random players doing what the Guides of the Lotus should've been, but it's a lot more personal and can very often be the start of a new friendship. Trainman has always been more vocal about criticism towards Warframe and DE, but that's because of how much he cares about it all. My hope is DE will learn to listen better to their community because they got this far because of nothing other than just that. Thanks for the video, it's nice to have a concise view of the big picture, because even with every single instance of toxic player2player or developer2player interaction, there's still more good than bad in here.

I’ve played FIVE hours and in hooked like actually im a bit confused on how progression works but I think I’m getting the hang of it I had one guy sit in a mission and just explain stuff about mods and how you get detain items all I can say is I’m extremely grateful to that person and to the community in the chats for also answering my dumb questions

Almost MR30 here, playing since the game release (didn't catch the beta for just a week!) and I can totally say that everything you pointed out it's right. Also we veterans love to pick up the newbies and carry them around like: yo check this! I think that's the only way I have fun lately, farming and grinding isn't as fun as it used to be but oh well

Yeah i can tell that Warframe for me has been always this wholesome Niche. The thing is when they asked me why i gave money to Warframe i would simply say. Dude... the game is amazing and the whole experience is great i might not play it like every day and i play it from time to time. But i like my space ninjas and from the beggining the devs have been always trying to make a great job. Thats why Warframe always prevails even in the hardest competition.

as a warframe veteran (been playing since the release on 2013) i am genuinely happy with this community, sure the trading chat is something like a world war 2, but other than the trading chat everything is peaceful :) region chat is just full of people sharing some puns and memes, and the discord of warframe is a lot of people helping new player, chilling, giving some of their builds to help the community, etc. i've been on and off of the game cause of being burned out but whenever i discover one of my friends plays the game i open the game and help them go strong and bigger :) i never uninstalled the game on my PC, it's just there sitting and constantly updating when a new update drops lmao, but yeah it's a fun community! and i hope the game AND the community never changes!

This made me remember so many things about my time in warframe, i remember that when i started i joined a new clan that had a few members, i made some good friends with them and we started growing up the clan. Eventually when i started drifting off the game i would only check to see who was on atm and talk for a while, this eventually lead to the leader kicking me and me coming home and booting the game to see i didnt have a clan anymore was actually kind of sad, he also offered to get me back in but i knew i wasnt playing almost at all, so i rejected. I wonder what it will be of that clan today, might check yp tomorrow, i miss those guys

I started playing on Xbox in 2020 with the xsx release, and the community has been nothing but nice, and sharing that energy is very easy when everyone is so nice. I remember when I first started, I didn't understand much of a lot of missions, and people really stopped playing to guide me and explain. I even had a group re-run some mission so that I can get more familiar with the mission. Compared to many other communities. The warframe community is way up top in the best community. You can tell there's a very good relationship with dev and players because they listen to the community and try to fix and make up to stuff when there's an issue. I'm super happy to be part of that community

having recently got into the game and grinding hte hell out of it ive already made 3 new friends that are always happy to help out and have just unlocked steel path thanks to them helping me through planets etc now im starting to do the same to newer players as i find them aswell. this game breeds such a great community that just wants other warframes to be as strong as them one of the dudes i met had the same kuva weapon and ele type so now we are Kuva Karr brothers running around shouting "BOOM" as we decimate level 30s XD

It amazes me how helpful the players in warframe are. There is always someone around to help you make a run and help you gather materials for the items you are trying to build.

Tbh when i was new i got helped a lot.. I mean.. A LOT. They helped and guide through everything and if i had a problem with a mission or needed an item that was hard to get in my lvl they just help me and tell me how to get it.. Now that im kind of a veteran myself i can t just leave a new player confused.. I think it was a good thing for warframe to have almost no tutorial because then players will help players

To this day, I've helped many new players by just being a guides/mentors if anything. I know that feeling of starting out on Warframe with no prior knowledge. Luckily I'm in a clan/alliance where we do have a lot of newer players, they ask a lot of questions. We also have discord to make it more manageable for those asking questions(since WF chat can be a mess of many different topics happening at once)
