Reminds me of the RU-vid video of the young lady whose did turn out to be melanoma. Sadly, she had been overlooked and misdiagnosed for over a decade, before losing part of her finger. My friend from elementary school had her first bout with cancer from a melanoma between her toes, in her early 20’s. Her 2nd was bilateral breast cancer, in her 30’s. I say this to remind everyone how sneaky melanoma (and cancer, in general) can be. Always be aware of your body. If it doesn’t feel right, get it looked at! Cancer has taken so many of my loved ones, including my daddy. I hate cancer! 😢
My middle toe on both feet were a different colour since as soon as I can remember. They were brown-ish yellow with a bit of purple. It’s gone now tho. My last memory of seeing it was when I was 12yo.
It also appears after a long period of being sick and taking too many antibiotics, meds and steroids. I got it after Covid it took months for it to go away after I super buffed on supplements & vitamins as well as changed to a vegetarian 🌱 diet. Did the same with mom who was nonstop sick with asthma, taking antibiotics 3-4 times a year for 10 yrs. and they disappeared as well. (Her finger nails were flat, they returned to being curved again)
@@dro2000I’m black and my mom and grandmother have them also. Grandma is 87 years old and my mom is 67 yrs old. I got them and I’m 49yrs old. They just appeared this year on my fingers
@citizencain2383 people of color are at risk for a certain type of Melanoma called Acral Melanoma. It appears in many ways but the distinct line down the nail itself is a clear sign. It can come from genetics. But, its best to have it checked regardless. Its one of the most deadly and fastest spreading Melanomas. I know because I have it.
Make sure he is on a burn pit registry. And make sure if he has cancer, that he has a doctor confirm it's a service connection condition. Make sure your dad has the ability to contact his CO to confirm his service. My dad served in Iraq in '03-'07 and got an aggressive form of lung/pancreatic cancer; we scrambled to get him documented for his service connection and legal representation. I wish all the health for your father and thankfulness for his service.
I love Jesus so much. Thank you Jesus for Johnny, Thank you for his testimony and his heart. Thank you for what youve done on the cross for us Jesus. Thank you that your Holy Spirit is now at work in Johnnys Life transforming his life and his heart.
Omg, guys, i just freaked out when the internet says cancer. A few days ago, my mom discovered that she had a brown/black line patch in her nail.so ofc i did research cuz why not. then the internet says its cancer. I was so scared. so now I told my mom to go to the hospital as soon as possible.
I had this on my toe nail and freaked out after consulting Dr.Google. I did however see my G.P who was kind enough to refer me to a specialist (as a precautionary measure). The specialist thought I'd gone mad lol and told me it was nothing of 'that nature' and took a nail clipping which came back fine..he then told me to piss off lol
I’m now convinced phones can read minds. This is first short I saw when I opened RU-vid and I kid you not just minutes ago I notice this on my nephews nail just wondering what it is. I didn’t google it nor said anything about it out loud.
I've noticed a slight change similar to this recently, deff checking it out asap. Although its rare and since I am Hispanic it seems common in my people, you never know.
Thanks for the information, I slammed my thumb in the the car door over 20 yrs ago left a streak as of now...bleeding under the nail but didn't come off....
I have one and now I'm thinking about how to spend the remaining time of my life , I actually broke my nail and the old one. came out , the new nail which was growing had this think black streak
I never had this, but some of my nails got a sudden "upgrade" in thickness. At first it was like haft the nail is heavy armor and the other is just a sheet, then it fully transitioned to heavily armored. It happened on 4 of my foot fingers (thumb and pointer on both feet). My left hand thumb is also abnormally thick, but it's because I pluck my beard when I'm bored
I’ve had thoes lines on 4 of my 10 fingers since birth. My Dad (R.I.P.) had’m also. I know plenty of people with it and healthy as a horse 🐎!! It’s common in melanated (BLK) ppl ✊🏾
I have started having a faded brown line on my right hand thumb it gets darker in weeks but I am Indian so I am brown so it's just hopefully it's not cancer
I’ve got that for more than 10 years now didn’t think much of it until this video 😳😳😳 you telling me I might be sitting here with cancer and don’t know
Had it when I was younger after my finger getting jammed in the drawer. Checked for it on seeing this reel and it’s disappeared. Even forgot which finger it was. 😅
My partner also has this on their nails and I freaked out when I noticed because I’m white & heard of that melanoma before, but they’re darker skinned w/ hispanic genes and they said oh I’ve had these for a long time like all my life so I tried not to freak out Ahdha

I have a couple of faint lines on my left thumb that appeared out of nowhere a few months ago. I used to get my nails done a lot so I'm afraid that UV lamps may have caused it. I've now kept my nails bare to keep an eye on my nail health. I've spoken to my GP and they referred me to dermatology, I'm just waiting to get an appointment to make sure it's not cancer. Fingers crossed it's not cancer.
I have one too. Not that dark either. I’ve had it for years and I’m freaking out because apparently even if you’ve had it for years it could still be cancer. It hasn’t changed and my brother and mom have it too. I haven’t been able to sleep for a while now.
I have short ones appear on my two pointy finger and my left thumb. Although my right point finger has some painful pressure under my nail, suddenly there’s another two on my left hand. With no pain at all.
when i caught covid the first time, a bunch of stuff happened where my nails and toes changed color. Looking it up on the internet led to some interesting theories on it, but nope. Just Covid toes and me accidentally slamming my fingers into the mirror. I think I was started by my cat, don't remember.
