I could not disagree with this more. Two pointless thoughts: -attraction signals must be done in aggregate. One look means nothing. One smile means nothing. One conversation means nothing. Politeness means nothing. Several signs must occur to draw a conclusion. -please keep context in mind. She might just be scanning the room or looking in your direction because you are standing close to something interesting like a plant, the clock, the exit, a hot guy next to you that she is actually attracted to, etc. Context! -please be realistic and self aware. If you spot a hot 9 or 10, it is extremely unlikely she is physically attracted to you if you look like Brendan Fraser from the Whale.

There’s a difference between being glanced at and checked out, versus being looked at and invited over. The problem is the second one is rare, and the first one “could” be actual interest, but there’s no way of knowing without approaching. And approaching when it isn’t actual interest can actually hurt your rep if you are approaching in a place you frequent a lot, like the gym. Also attraction isn’t everything. Peep this story: I was at a bar doing my own thing while a homie bought us rounds. I walked past 2 girls and one of them looked at her homegirl and then at me and she says “hey you need to talk to my friend here” I played it cool and said something like ye the music is crazy (because the girls were like what kind of music is this) anyways the girl that I was supposed to talk to seemed shy (though very hot) and I didn’t have my wing so I just quickly excused myself after saying one thing and didn’t even wait for a reply. My boy gets back and now that he’s back he can talk to one girl and I can talk to the other. Me and him go and stand semi next to the girls and make conversation with ourselves. Then we finish up and I told him to be on the lookout for the one girl to say something and sure enough she did. She gets even more crazy and calls my homie over and whispers to him? Then as I’m starting to walk up she yells at me and tells me that I need to take her friend home and the her friend thinks I’m hot (but her friend was super super embarrassed) anyways I played it cool and tried to talk to her friend but she was too embarrassed to actually do much conversation. It turns out they were from across the country and were only here for 2 days. So of course that means that (taking her home that night) would be the only real chance there was. But of course it didn’t happen. EVEN WHEN THE GIRL IS SUPER INTO YOU, things can still mess up. In this case the friend ruined it by making the girl that was into me, feel like a slut. It’s whatever… I get plenty of girls. But it’s just a lesson learned that attraction is t everything. Girls can totally be attracted to you but not at all interested… it happens all the time.

I don't make eye contact in general with anyone 🙈. I actually try to avoid eye contact unless they're in my immediate vicinity where I give the smile and nod of acknowledgement. I also do this if I briefly lock eye contact with strangers accidentally. If a woman is looking at me, smile nod then escape 😅
