Helping someone who’s having a tonic-clonic seizure doesn’t have to be difficult. All you have to do is CARE.
C - Comfort
Cushion their head with something soft to protect them from injury
A - Action
Start to time the seizure, and clear the area of anything that might be harmful. You could also check if the person has a medical ID or bracelet with more information on how to help
R - Reassure
After the seizure stops, put the person in the recovery position and reassure them
E - Emergency
Call 999 if the person:
- is not regaining consciousness
- goes straight into another seizure
- has trouble breathing after the seizure stops
- has never had a seizure before

This is a really important video, I've had quite a few seizures in public. Just the kindness of random strangers I never remember a seizure, so sadly i can't say. Thank you to whoever helped. But its appreciated 😀

Thats a really good video and can be helpful for bystanders. I got diagnosed with epilepsy 1 and a half year ago and sufferd around 9-10 seizures in a span of 7 months after that we manged to get the right medication after trying 3 diffrent types of medication and i didnt had any more seizures since then (almost 1 year without a seizure yay) but i still inform people around me that there is a posibility for this to happen just so they know how to handle it and thankfully i never sufferd a seizure alone since every time when it happend my parrents where around me to help(bless them 🙏❤)
