Hi friends. Have you ever done this where you buy some produce for a specific purpose and then when you finally get round to it, you've missed the boat. This okra was certainly still edible, but was just no longer appropriate to pickle. We eat roasted okra a lot at our house, but I found a recipe that give it a bit of extra oomph, or zhuzh as I like to say (who knew it was spelt like that - I always assumed it was 'jooj').
