Hey! We set up onboarding for students closest to their home, so it will determine which terminal you are closest to. We offer $200/week in advances while you're on the road as a CDL permit holder, we call this a D seat. These advances are paid back, interest-free, once you earn your Class-A CDL and begin earning guaranteed pay. Your D seat phase takes 2-3 weeks total. As a C-Seat (CDL Earned) you will run 10,000 miles and receive $600/week guaranteed or $.12/mile, whichever is more. As a B-seat, you will run the remaining 20,000 miles and receive $700/week guaranteed or $.14/mile. After all of your training is completed, you become an A-seat which means you get in your own truck and earn as a company driver. Company drivers average between $1,100 - $1,225 per week.

Stroke Christmas Eve 2012, now I can’t even drive our car. But I get to see those beautiful black truck on the interstate.

My grandpa drove for over 40 years, 3 heart attacks, from not taking care of himself. Hes still kickin but the life was rough. He said, if you choose this for a career, you need to eat right and exercise when you can. I hope all is well for you, people come back from strokes, just keep going.

Hey Travis! You do have to obtain your CDL permit and DOT physical before coming to our terminal even if you are in Missouri. If you live close enough to the terminal you are not required to stay in a hotel if you choose not to. If you don't live close enough, we will still provide travel and lodging!

Travis, regardless of where you live, you have to obtain your CDL permit and DOT physical.

Hi Rosalie! We do not have an exact number of female students we have trained, however, we will look into getting an exact number! Yes, we have female trainers. The experience our trainers have vary. If they have prior training experience, they can begin training with us in as early as 6 months after their hire date. If they do not, it is closer to a year of experience. We check in with our students weekly to see how they are getting along with their trainer. If it ends up not a good fit, we will work to get you a new trainer.

Students go over-the-road with their trainers for 40,000 miles which ends up being about 3-4 months on the road! Glad the information helped you! Our program has changed a bit in the past year and we want everyone to be informed coming in!

It definitely is a long time, but when it comes to our drivers safety and education, we take our time to make sure they're going to be the safest drivers on the road. All traffic violations must be 3 years old.

Unfortunately fmcsa doesn't allow deaf people to obtai a cdl. If you can hear their hearing tests for the dot physical then you can get a cdl.

At our Springfield, MO location, we test in autos. At our Missoula, MT location, we try to keep a manual on our lot to test in so you do not have any restrictions on your license, but we cannot guarantee it

Hi! For our OTR fleet, we require at least 6 months of OTR experience. For all other fleets (Western 11 Regional, PNW Regional, I-5 Regional) we require at least 12 months of recent tractor-trailer experience. We would be happy to speak with you about all of the options we have for you.

?'s, While doing your training on the road with a instructor for the 3k-4k miles.. How many female student's have you trained? Do you have Female trainer's? How much experiance do the trainers have? As a female I have my concerns of being paired up with just any male driver for 3 month's, if a student and trainer are not a good fit for each other, what solutions do you have in place to assure a proper fit or obtain another trainer?

Shaky about living on the rode with a stranger . Will the training be with your trainer driving in the passenger seat in the day time or one sleeps while the other drives type of thing ?

Hey there! While you have your CDL permit, your trainer is required to be in the passenger seat at all times. After you have earned your CDL, you and your trainer will work together based on your comfort and needs with the end goal of team like driving (driving while the second driver rest). We work closely with students and make sure they are willing and capable to go on the road with their trainer.

Hi! After completing our program, students drive out of their home town even though they are "based" at one of our terminals. Since we haul all 48 states, you could be on the road for 3-4 weeks without stopping by home. Where is home for you?

Hi Jose! Unfortunately, our Class-A CDL Training is for students with zero experience and are earning their CDL for the first time. For drivers with experience, we require at least 6 months of recent experience.

Hi! All students go to either Springfield, MO or Missoula, MT for Paid CDL Training. We pay for travel, lodging and meals while at the terminal. After you complete the program, you can absolutely stay in Arizona and drive in one of our OTR or Western Regional divisions!

Hey Gary! We do not have strict timelines on becoming a trainer. If you are a strong driver, all you have to do is reach out to your fleet manager and they will work with you to become a trainer!

Hey there! Congrats on attending a trucking school! We do require at least one year of OTR experience before being brought on. A lot of other companies will require similar experience. One downside to trucking schools is the lack of experience afterwards, whereas a program like ours provides you the experience while also getting paid.

Hey! We do require that any students who eventually want to team together must train separately. Once training is complete and both students are solo drivers, they are able to team drive!

Wilson Logistics gotcha! so is that via urine sample or hair sample? i only ask because i keep my hair shaved but am starting with yall in august and i dont know if i need to grow my hair out or not

I'm glad I found this question because I've been trying to grow my hair out for months to make sure it's long enough to test, but I'd love to shave it! Passed my CDL permit on Tuesday and saw a Wilson transit van pull up at MVD in Missoula to pickup students. Little did I know your terminal is less than 2 miles away from me. See ya soon 👍🏻

Hey there! This is the first week overview. After this first week, students go OTR with a trainer for real-world hands-on training. Our Paid CDL Training is about 3-4 months on average.

Hey! We will have our new students paired with a trainer during training. Once you complete the program, you will run solo. If there is someone you would like to run team with, you are more than welcome to do that as well.

Hi there! Yes, if you decide you no longer want to be a part of your team (the team you created after training), then it will not be a problem to run solo.

Hey! Our Paid CDL Training Program is based on a progressive pay scale. We offer $200/week in advances while you're on the road as a CDL permit holder, we call this a D seat. These advances are paid back, interest-free, once you earn your Class-A CDL and begin earning guaranteed pay. Your D seat phase takes 2-3 weeks total. As a C-Seat (CDL Earned) you will run 10,000 miles and receive $600/week guaranteed or $.12/mile, whichever is more. As a B-seat, you will run the remaining 20,000 miles and receive $700/week guaranteed or $.14/mile.
