Also, at the end of a sentence you should use a period (or in your mind, that weird dot thing) or an exclamation point (which is the dot with a line above it). An easy example of tainted history is the Israel-Palestine conflict. The misinformation on this is prevalent even today. Despite this, I still believe independent journalism is as close as one can get to fact-based interpretations of events as long as you get it from the direct source -- not via big media corps.

The reason Youngstown is declining and no one wants to live there .. is because of all the ignorance sitting around that table. We have two countries urban/rural educated/uneducated. There's little to no jobs, except fast food restaurants and Walmart a few plants are still operating, there's a few CNA jobs and in home care for elderly and disabled persons. That's about it. Babies are having babies to get more welfare and food stamps. Guys are selling drugs because of a poverty and lack of decent jobs. Businesses are closing by the handful. When I hear people brag on this President, the economy, and jobs numbers I simply wanna puke.

sorry Youngstown your hay day of steel working and manufacturing is long dead. the only way to start to make things a little better is to stop waiting on some elected official( no matter party) to do everything for you. that's what you have done for years. look around half the buildings are boarded up or beyond repair and crime is through the roof. you can't even walk down the street with out fear of being shot. double up your law enforcement tear down the crappy buildings and make Youngstown appealing to manufactures.but like I said it is up to your people to make things better or you can sit back and boohoo and reminisce about what once was as you watch as your city turn to rubble.
your right its very sad. last time I was there back in 2007 I had to get a new radiator for my truck and the only autozone that had one was in down town Youngstown. when I walked in I seen a security guard standing behind the counter with a vest on and a gun on his hip. because I believe a week before one of the auto zone employees was shot and killed. I had grown up in North lima and always tried to avoid Youngstown if I could because of the crime. if they can get the crime under control and have people ban together to help fix up the town and make it more appealing to company's to move there. it could come back and be a very nice place again. but they cant wait on anyone from the government to do it for them. that's what they have done for years and it isn't working.
Not immigrants fault for "stealing" jobs, the person that is giving the job has the right to choose his employees. Plus immigrants work physically harder which is better for the person giving the job knowing they will work. In the end it's up to the person to choose his employees.
