I have a copy of a copy of Song of the South. It is delightful. Uncle Remus is portrayed as a hero, a role model, a kind and wonderful man. We have been robbed by not having access to this beautiful film. So, is that racial overtones? Then so is The Color Purple, Roots, Amistad, Amazing Grace, and so on. Welcome to politically correct hypocrisy that bans many wonderful charming black hero's from black people...and everyone else.
One of the VHS I really want that's always at least $100 is Free Amerika Broadcasting. I've never seen it. It's an alternate history science fiction film about the aftermath of Richard Nixon being assassinated.
Wow I remember throwing out a 1x1x2 foot box full of VHS taped from (UK) TV just a few years go. Why is it always the junk I throw out that turns up to be worth something, and the stuff I keep isn't!
Nice video.. I didnt learn anything about VHS that I didn't already know.. but I think it was done very well for people that don't know this info. I did lean about the - thing in the search ... That is helpful thanks!!! Like I always tell everyone If you can just learn one thing from each video you watch you will soon know 100 things that you didn't know from watching more and more videos. I have sold many wrestling tapes for $100 or more and tons of HORROR .. The BIG BOX ones sell the best on HORROR... Once again.. Great video and Thanks for helping people out!!!
@@ThriftShopHustler I’m definitely going to look. I know they had some horror stuff and home recordings. I never knew that old tv recordings could be valuable. For free, it would definitely be worth a shot !!! I appreciate the information
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does anybody know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost my login password. I love any help you can give me
@Jasper Jesse thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Just a friendly tip for anyone out there be careful about selling video games. There are copyright tapes out there and you really don't wanna get caught selling those
I have tons of recorded VHS tapes, with old shows recordings like The Ex Mrs. Bradford 1936 WITH William Powell and don't know what to do with it. Please advise
Can you assume the VHS videos that sold of high dollar value with only 1 bid, were not actually sold to someone? Is this their way to increase value on certain titles to trick someone into buying a VHS tape that really isn't worth much? Any suggestions on how to weed out those in a search?
I was in goodwill this week and bought 15 vhs’ for $9 and some asked me was I “flipping” them . And even though I’m collecting them , it’s definitely crossed my mind to flip VHS’ after he mentioned it . One was a Jurassic Park and Jerry McGuire unopened. My only question is about shipping them out ? Each time would I need to have shipping supplies on hand or you go to the post office each time ? Any advice about shipping them out .
@@ThriftShopHustler so each time you put them in boxes and take them to the post office to be weighed and ship them out that way ? I know some people have a weigh scale at home and have labels they have print off right at home. I would love to learn more ❤
@@MoonSpeaksTV Once you sell it on Ebay, you can print the label after you enter the dimensions and weight. Most VHS in slipsleeves weigh 7-8 oz. The ones from late 70's to early 80's weigh about 8.5 to 9.5 oz. Cheap to ship. Slap on the label and drop at the post office. Or just give it to the mailman when he drives by.
@@ThriftShopHustler thank you for responding :), but why the same title and appearance even black diamond some goes for hundreds of dollars and others between $6 and $20 ?
Might have to get hold of the vhs from home (mums place) has been 20yrs since I left and even longer again since I forgot the hit stop/record after or before the ad break lol
I just saw the whole video and believe or not but the cars vhs came out in 2007 I know everything about the cars vhs so if you want to know more tell me in replies also one of the more rarer vhs is actually the little mermaid 2007 vhs that one goes for a lot of money I can tell you a whole paragraph on both if you want
Hey so I recently found 2 green and black E.T. VHS tapes and I was wondering if they are still worth anything. I know nothing about VHS pricing and was wondering if they are still worth anything.
@@ThriftShopHustler I've made some good money off used sold as blank VHS. I've also sold people's home movies shot on VHS. Not as often as I sell 8mm home movies but I'm starting to find them more at estate sales.

The more and more technology become advance the more people from my generation lose their childhood so do you think even the Common VHS tapes would sell later
To clear this up since you clearly do not know. The "Song of the South" bootlegs were produced from the 1980's into the 1990's by various bootleggers and they are not the PAL/UK version. The case art is from the PAL/UK VHS release, but the movie rip is most commonly from the South Korea LaserDisc release, and thus they feature Korean subtitles. The low-grade bootleg is the European release from a British VHS release, but the video quality of that version of the bootleg is horrible. Also Disney has only "vaulted" this title from the North American market, it was available to the rest of the world. It wasn't a issue of racism, it was because it painted a Confederate family in a positive light, and Disney has transformed into a woke mess that doesn't like to acknowledge history.
Y'all just trying get more money and y'all not getting my vhs tapes I will continue keep them and whiching them I have 900 vhs movies and not getting rid of them there staying with me
