I'm watching this just over two years later and it's unbelievable the the Ukraine war with Russia is still going on. Such a tragedy for the people of Ukraine and so very sad. Thanks for this little trip through the old part of town and the walk in the woods to the sea. I'm now relaxed even more than after my yoga class this morning.

I feel your mention of the hills called 'mountain'. Near where I live are two of those - we Dutch are good at making mountains out of hills too xD On language: my mom comes from a Dutch fishing town. My granddad loved to go to Denmark on vacation, and one year they took gran's parents. Great-grandmother did only speak the dialect from Scheveningen, she didn't even speak 'common Dutch', let alone any other language. One day she had been chatting to an elderly lady for a while, and at returning remarked how funny it was that someone there spoke 'Schevenings'. So there is at least one Danish fishing town with a dialect eerily similar to that of a Dutch fishing town 🙂
Hi Helle, you should seek a job with the Danish tourism board! Denmark looks so beautiful and inviting. Your camerawork and insightful commentary are superb. Also your knitwear is a real eyeopener for me. I never realized a sweater was made in pieces!! (I can be quite naive 🙃). You always say kind things, and I can tell you that my partner said something similar when someone asked him about my videos 🙃 What I meant (but didn’t express accurately) is that I don’t seek to make ‘touristy’ videos, which feels somewhat limiting and boring, but to show things that I love, incl nature and other aspects of my life - in Denmark, which is more a voluntary act of joy. Not sure that makes any sense at all, but I’m so glad you’re coming along for the journey 🙏🏻😌
Thank you I enjoyed learning about the three Scandinavian countries. My great-grandfather was from Norway 🇳🇴 his name was Henrick Larsen. I know Larsen is a very common name in Denmark so I wonder if he was Danish

I woke up this morning to find you have uploaded another video, and, as usual, I was not disappointed! Set the tone for the rest of the day! I have been following a You Tuber named Daniel, who lives in Stockholm, his channel is called "Lets walk around Stockholm " I can highly recommend it, as he not only walks, but talks as well! It's like having a guided tour with a friend! And he always speaks in English, but he has a Swedish word of the day! Very enjoyable!, sorry to ramble on, I am now back at work, and enjoying the training in my New job! Take care, until next time!
