If everyone is upset about trading an aged out WR and kept the FRANCHISE QB yall are soft! You always keep the franchise QB over EVERYONE ELSE! Digg is 31 yrs old and on a decline and will be a whiny over paid number 3 WR in Houston!
So many people think the Bills need to compensate for Diggs leaving by drafting 2 WR but they actually have plenty ball catchers. Sure, they should grab a WR but they do not need to give up an arm and a leg to do it. This season will force players, including Josh Allen to be better as they cannot rely on anyone else but themselves.
@@danielcorreard3746 the draft will answer that. If they move up or trade for veterans they’re still all in. If they trade back, or more into next year, they are competing but prioritizing controlling cost and infusing much needed youth. If they stay put they couldn’t find a trade partner or they’re tanking, especially if they draft right behind upcoming contracts (RT, DE, CB) and pay zero attention to needs. Drafting a QB anywhere would also show that, unwilling to give 4-10 mil to a veteran backup. That’s a sign of a cash strapped team retooling
Wow, I'm old. They played this song all the time on the radio in the 70's. Kookaburra sits on the old gum tree, Merry merry king of the bush is he. Laugh, Kookaburra, laugh, Kookaburra, Gay your life must be! Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree Eating all the gumdrops he can see Stop, Kookaburra, Stop, Kookaburra Leave some there for me. Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree, Counting all the monkeys he can see Stop, Kookaburra, Stop, Kookaburra, That's no monkey, that's me.
Don’t like trade up. Just did a pff simulator spending buffalos own 2 and 6 next year. That netted orhorhoro, leggette, m hall jr, r pearsall, Malik Washington, layden Robinson, Kadon Oladapo, Garrett greenfield, Tykee Smith, Mohamed kamara, Kimali Vidal. Exchange one wr for a corner perhaps but otherwise seems realistic and a great option in general.
I agree - I'm having bad flash backs of the Sammy Watkins trade up- safer to get a solid receiver 2nd or third round - since we have Collins now hiw about trading Dion Dawkins to San Francisco straight up for ayuik and drafting a ol tackle first or second round to sit behind Collins for a year??? I love Dawkins but sometimes tough moves must be made - ayuik is a guarantee unlike trading our future away for a potential Sammy watkins
@@user-lb7gd9mm6f that’s why I went with the triple dip. Aiyuk will need to be extended Diggs type money, the Dawkins contract being reworked would make dead cap prohibitive, and Collins hasn’t shown much for 3+ years. Have zero interest in penciling in a guy that has never played LT and has played RT poorly of late. He’s a flyer and essentially a reason not to go OT early. If he works out they’ll extend him one more year and let Spencer walk. Then draft one high next year unless Greenfield from my draft shows promise. Never say never but Dawkins is kinda the voice of the team now and will likely retire a Bill
Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree Eating all the gumdrops he can see Stop, Kookaburra, Stop, Kookaburra Leave some there for me? How did you not sing this as a child?
I have a feeling that Josh Allen wanted to trade Diggs. I think Allen said to the Bills, It's either Diggs or me. I think that's why Beane said that it was in the best interest of the Bills that we made this trade
You’re doing a LOT of thinking here lol! Even if it was ultimatums you always Keep the Franchise QB over the aging out WR! Was wilm last 10-15 even 20 years all other player have very short shelf lives!
I’m sorry but that is a dumb take. Diggs wanted out, period. Bills weren’t about to deal with him sitting out next year. They took the best deal available. Other teams knew the Bills were stuck in a bad position, that’s why the trade deal was so bad for the Bills
@@patrickfintak2048how was it a bad trade? Keenan Allen netted only a 4th rounder and first rd pick Jerry Jeudy was traded for a 5th and 6th. Diggs for a 2nd which is actually the Vikings 2nd pick could be a Top 40 pick next year. I get the trade has put us in a tough spot but as far as value it’s quite good.
A Bills 1 is like a high 2nd so trading this year's and next year's 1 and this year's 2 for Odunze would be a wise move because a low round 1 two years in a row might not be as promising as drafting a dog who can get 100 yards per game now.
Not even the same! Better comparison is davante Adams, Michael Pittman, D Hop and a long list of others in that same mold. Benjamin came in bigger than most TE are now. 6'5 240. That's not even close to Coleman @@joekane8026
Diggs is doing the same when he left Minnesota talking shit about good people and now alot of people are down about all that want down and they should not, And I believe that they are going to be ok because Beane had to get rid of the cancer. And Beane has to do will in the draft and another free agency
From the future… imagine if you came to this podcast and told these guys that we would trade Xavier worthy to the Kansas City Chiefs… Nobody would believe you
If they can't get Mitchell or Thomas, then I'd trade down. Those guys have so much upside. McConkey is solid, but similar talent can be had in round 2.
I disagree 100% with overrating Shakir. He's gonna be a 1000 yard receiver this year...just watch. I like Legette but think y'all are underrating Brian Thomas Jr. Keon Coleman is a hard pass...Kelvin Benjamin 2.0.
Everyone should have known after the chiefs game that Diggs was going to want out. The Bills took the best deal they could get. The whole NFL knew that the Bills were stuck in a bad situation and they had to move him. That’s why the compensation they got was so bad. They had to trade him or deal with him sitting out next year and have that nightmare on their hands. I don’t blame Diggs at all, he doesn’t feel like he can win a SB in Buffalo with this coaching staff. Sad thing is, he’s probably right. He gave his all for 4 straight years and it didn’t work. No reason to keep banging your head against the wall when you know you’ll never get past the divisional round with these coaches.
does it really matter who the bills draft because whoever it is won't come close to even matching diggs production texans will make a deep run in the playoffs while the bills won't even be relevant. predicted record 5-12
So desperate to get a wrs when there is a plethra of recievers in draft . I let the gm deal wit it all this talk it just gets people going if a wrs is there cool if not I look at the board and get the best player or best need simple.
I bet beane gets real mad when the Texans have 4-5 primetime games and the Bills have 2. I just think beane made a pretty big misstep with this trade. You know why Bills fans me included are so frustrated with the trade we are terrified to go back the dark days of mediocre football without a championship.
Am I though? So your saying beane planned on throwing away his wr1 and 34 million 1 year into his extension? That kind of move has more repercussions than the names on the roster, Is all I’m saying.
Why would a coach ever care about a prime time game? I guarantee most coaches want Sunday at 1:00 every week. They throw the whole week’s schedule off for two weeks. It’s a negative not a positive.
@@AudioAl5195 good thing my post was regarding Beane? But I bet The players would agree though primetime games are worth the rest advantage/disadvantage to have all eyes on you.
@@buzzed0nbeer21 Sorry, yes you are correct. It was about Breanne. Totally my mistake. I think he would care even less though. He has even less reason to want the distractions of Sunday night, Monday night Thursday night. I think it is an advantage for the teams that don’t have as many prime time games. Sitting around all day waiting for 8:30 PM to come must be nerve racking. Especially after most other teams are done playing. That’s my thought anyway.
