Glad you got to enjoy Columbus and the Shoe. Sadly for us Blue Jackets fans we also just saw a bunch of former Jackets go win elsewhere. Would be interested to hear where you played golf.
The Bills have the luxury of having their guy at quarterback. There is no regret to the money they will spend on his next extension. First, Peter Frampton 1973...you are children.
Five years? There is absolutely no rush. Think DIGGS and that is lesson enough. Win a SB then you can discuss extending him but if not trade is an option. It’s a business not a charity especially given the level of greed of all parties.
James Cook had every opportunity last year to break out into an upper tier back. Over a 4 game stretch it looked like he might. But then he came back down to Earth. He's ok, maybe average or a hair above, but he's neither bruising nor slashing. His WR skills are also just ok. Yet due to his Team name and age he'd be great trade bait. Ray Davis is already a better runner than James Cook. Prove me right Ray!
No. They do not need to address Josh Allens contract. Ooh boo fing hoo. Someone makes 55 million and you only make 45. TOO BAD! YOU SIGNED IT NOW PLAY IT OUT
Let’s get a Super Bowl Win , that’s all that matters Josh is entering his prime and it simply must happen soon for him Ben a thought of a contract discussion!
I’ve always believed there should be a salary cap incentive for drafting well (I.e. a percentage of contracts for players your team drafted doesn’t count against the cap).
Alway love tuning into the show. I think Josh is aware of his contract. I think he will have a similar mindset to Tom Brady where he takes less for the greater good of the team.
QB only cap seems interesting. I would make it apply to everyone in that position, so the lower paid your starter is, the better caliber backup you could get or the more QBs you could sign on your roster.
Josh just needs to start a company that caters to elite athletes, call it JA17. Terry Pegula can hire JA17 to take care of Josh and pay JA17 piles of money, and Josh can take pay cuts so the Bills can load up at other positions. It's genius!
He’s not hurting his career this franchise is revamped and it understands that it had to get younger because there salary cap has been in purgatory for the last 3 seasons!
Trubisky is an average backup. He was lousy in Pittsburgh and didn’t take meaningful snaps in Buffalo. So, on what basis is he considered above average?
Matt that is HILARIOUS. About the 'bug spray' . My first concert was CheapTrick/Heart. My sister and I were like 8yrs old, and it was the only time I've ever been to the Aud. My older brother took us because my Mom wouldn't let him go alone with his girlfriend. I think my parents thought if he was dragging a couple 8 year olds around he wouldn't get into trouble. 😂😂😂 Ah the 80s...
Diggs , screwed the Bills . he got paid twice. quit in the middle of last year when the Bills needed every win. did not perform in the playoffs. forced a trade costing the Bills $30 million.
Absolutely not. Who are you going to replace him with, that is going to produce 25-30 goals, per year, that makes absorbing that dead money worth it? Skinner can still produce. And unless you KNOW for a fact that the production can be replaced, I would stand firm in keeping him around. He’s a good locker room presence on top of that.
Skinner will NOT produce in the bottom 6 and he has no spot in the top 6 as they are all better off without him. He drags a line down more than he elevates it. He is only good of you have a good Center, Krebs isn't getting Skinner more that 20 goals a year, we need more and we need more defensive play from his spot in the lineup. He. Has. Lost. His. Spot. Here. Its over bud, time to cope with the loss and use that money we save for a real two-way player, preferably #3 Center and push Krebs down, wouldn't be shocked if Krebs gets traded too though
