I think Cersei will possibly blow up the sept (maybe as a backup plan if Sir Robert Strong loses the trial by combat), and will flee back to Casterly Rock, because that's the only reason for us to see it as G.R.R. Martin said. Then, I see either Jamie returning to Casterly Rock and killing her or I see her laying low at Casterly Rock until everyone's busy fighting the Others in the North.

The causal prophecy vs the inevitable fore ordained one is a big theme. I don't think she causes these things to happen, but she does make them more likely someone will hate her enough to make it all happen.

I think if Robert Strong/Gregorstein does fail, it’ll be because his body breaks down. We know Qyburn was kicked out of the citadel for cutting open bodies of the living (surgery), the Mountain was poisoned & Qyburn has been requesting prisoners to experiment on. Chances are he’s doing some type of medieval organ transplant to continuously prolong Robert Strong’s life (and suffering) If he fails and is unmasked, it would reveal they didn’t kill Gregor and send his head to Dorne like they said they would. It would publicly out Cersei as a liar, coupled with her claiming Loras was grievously injured (assuming he’s actually fine,) added to the accusations of incest with Jaime. Which let’s be honest, there’s no way everyone hasn’t known that for a long time and just been afraid to say anything because she’s been in power. But judging my the Mercy chapter none of that is going to happen and she’ll still be in charge

If Faegon is crowned I see her trying to take him down by blowing up the sept maybe during a cornonation

I heard an idea I really like on another channel, that Cersei will be like Saruman and cause a 'scouring of the shire' situation in King's Landing at the end of the story. The way I envision it is she secretly escapes King's Landing during fAegon's sack but is thought to be dead, so nobody looks for her. She'll go dark for a while; we won't get any POVs from her; and while Jon and Dany are fighting the Others she'll sneak back into King's Landing and be there as one final obstacle for the heroes to unexpectedly confront when they think everything's settled. Actually I think it'll just be one hero, Jon, but I digress. If not this, I could see Cersei escaping during the sack and following the same asylum trek as Rhaenyra when she fled King's Landing during the Dance, and like Rhaenyra getting caught and brought back to King's Landing to actually be killed. First off. Cerise won't get her happy tragic ending she wants. It's funny how cersie and rhegar are the only ones excused by fans when we see how many times prophecy doesn't come true like with dany losing her son and the stallion that mounts the world legend didn't come true. A good move for George to one show that prophecy isn't 100 percent and two not need a massive time skip to wait for her son to handle things.

I wouldn't recommend marrying Cersei even when she was younger, since it's heavily implied that she killed her childhood friend

In Kevan's chapter, the trial is a less than 5 days away, but I think his death and the death of Pycelle might delay it. I think it's also possible that Cersei in her attempt to blow up the sept could end up setting off all the caches of wildfire hidden by the mad king. When she burns the tower of the hand, there is foreshadowing that she could destroy the whole palace. I think it would be cool if Cersei takes herself out and all Aegon has to do is come in and claim the ashes. I would love it if the prophecies, not just this one but all of them turn out to be just words. Cersei has turned her back on everyone that had her back, including Jamie and Pycelle. She literally has nobody and it's her own fault for making the prophecy the main driving force in her "decision" making process.

I'm going to be honest: When I read this video's title, my immediate reaction was, "I don't know and I don't care." First of all, because I don't believe WoW is ever coming out. But mainly because GRRM decided to take a complicated and interesting female character and make her stupid and always-axe-crazy. Not a *good* female character of course, but an undeniably fascinating one. Martin has said in interviews his original goal was to show how all these different characters and factions had motivations which made sense to them, but whose inability to put aside some self-interest for the sake of the common good which led to catastrophe. But then he changes Cersei from a cunning player at the Game of Thrones into this mustache-twirling villain. It's like GRRM can only have so many competent female characters in his world, and if he brings in a new one, then he has to either kill off or nerf an existing one. Mind you, if 'The Winds of Winter' ever does come out I'll undoubtedly read it, but it will be more out of intellectual curiosity than the passionate fervor with which I devoured the first three books. I'm just no longer as invested.

Cersei will run to the Rock if/when Aegon takes the city, and Jamie might meet her there - he is VERY angry at her these days, might kill her. But I think we will see Casterly Rock from Tyrion's eyes, he knows it down to the sewers.

My idea for cersie is how she will use Robert strong for her champion. She will win her case and begin to fall even deeper into anxiety much like mad king as little finger already confirmed he was shocked cersie ruined things that fast. The faith will be used to fight aegon as they don't like dragons or targs and as that happens cersie will try to take power back for herself If George remembers the sand sneks. They will probably weasel their way into the faith and the table getting more people around her that when oberyn was supposed to be the one who joined we see this instead. She's gonna fall eventually with how many sides are going against her

Self-fulfilling prophecy is a real thing. She absolutely helped it along. And I know it’s reading into things from the show, but there’s a moment where she’s speaking privately with Qyburn about symptoms alleviating. Pretty sure she moon tea’d Lancel’s spawn

I am still not convinced that Mrycella has to die, if for instance she is never crowned for sure. She was "crowned" in Arianne's rebellion, but survived. With scars. Yes the Sand Snakes might kill her because revenge for Elia's baby girl but that's not gold crown related that I see.

I think that Cersei is creating her self-fulfilling prophecy.

I think they will go the Robert Strong trial by combat route. Theres a lot of build up (The surprise reveal of robert strong and the sand snakes heading to KL suspicious of the head they were sent) surrounding him. There needs to be some pay off other than the whole situation being very very funny

Cersei for me was the most dissapointing ending in the D&D series version. I always wanted Arya to kill her, but for some reason I think that in the book she will go much more bitter, paranoyed and mad than she was in the series and I think that the ending that we saw with Jon and Dany will be the ending Cersei will get. Jaime will have to kill her as she becomes a danger to everyone.

Tell me why I can't help but feeling like Taena is working with/for Euron, somehow. I really think Cersei is about meet Euron, if Aegon doesn't move his ass faster. Also, If Tommen is still in KL when Euron gets there, he's dead AF. Cersei tho-he would clearly keep her around for a while. Sidenote-Cersie has NEVER been a nice person. She is a shit person who had a few bad breaks. She loves her children-and yet manages to be a bad mother, anyways. She is a self-centered bitch by nature, like how Robert is a recklessly casual womanizer by nature. She is like to believe that the Tyrell's are actively helping Tyrion kill her family off. Because this, everything, is all about her somehow. But yeah-I think Euron is how Cersie dies in a way matching Maggies prophecy. Even if Myrcella doesn't die-Cersie is probably going to believe that she is dead. That part is a real question-when will Myrcella die and will it even be Myrcella who dies? I don't know, honestly. It can go a few ways, really. But it really looks like Euron is heading to KL VERY soon. Maybe Cersie takes Tommen and runs. Why won't this let me spell Cersie wtf it keeps changing it lol.
