when we brought up attractive men we were talking about how it is easier to get into certain social circles and being among popular people tends to make a person more wanted. But you can still disagree with that too. :P

Yes Tango is Life!! Or maybe Life is Tango!!! :)

For me, a man in whose embrace and lead makes me feel protected, precious, and respected while both of us dance to the feeling evoked by the music. That kind of dance experience trumps everything for me. No need for the superficialities when one dances from the heart.

@@desireerivera2747 yes we know women appreciate skill but how do you get to that embrace. You have to make a decision on whether to give that person an opportunity to dance with you. And that decision can come with superficialities attached whether consciously or subconsciously right?

@@jburt56 I agree and disagree to this. I see where you are coming from with this but I think social tango can expand with quality, technique, and sensitivity but it takes 100x longer

Great video and as a woman dancer I agree with most points but not all. 1. I don’t look for guys who are tango teachers, organizers, or mundial participants . I look for good technic, musicality and comfortable embrace. 2. Agree on the ochos! Ocho does not mean that you should lead 8 of them! Less pivots please! 3. I don’t agree on good looks being advantageous. Many guys with bellies are great to dance with. That belly is so comfy provided a guy can dance. On a flip side, I avoid handsome bad dancers at all cost. 4. Looking presentable is important. Please upgrade from that old baggy tshirt to something a bit nicer. It is disrespectful to dance with a nicely dressed women wearing your old tshirt! 5. Agree on cologne. I like some fragrance, but please don’t bathe in it. It’s the worst when it gets on me and I leave a milonga smelling like a duty free store. 6. Shower before a milonga is none negotiable. Follow the tips and you will do great! 😊

Honestly there's nothing wrong with it. It's somebody's personal perspective and Journaling of their travels in tango. But there is some correlation between self righteous zealots reading tango and chaos as if they've found the light. It seems to be a running joke amongst my circle of friends. It does expose an underbelly of tango society, and I think that's good, but some of these zealots use it as a source of their enlightenment.
