I guess the answer is in the next 5/6 years or within the next 3 cycles. One of the top 3 youngsters may hit the 2800 Elo level consistently. My bet is on Pragg getting there first.

Like If Magnus played world championship DING LIREN was out of the tournament because NEPO won the candidates , But since Carlsen declined DING Liren GOT chance and became World Champion .

Either of Prag or Arjun defenitely qualify for candidates through world cup but gukesh is knocked out of World Cup, In order to qualify for candidates gukesh need to win another big classical tournament which is highly unlikely

No 2800 rated player just "pops up" lol. It's a gradual process and by the time any player is able to reach 2800, every super GM will have played against the player a number of times
