I want to extend my deepest heart felt sorrow on your mothers passing. May Jesus welcome her into heaven. I know how you feel, loosing a parent. May Jesus give you comfort at this sorrowful time. Amen
Analysis says black played with 98.8% accuracy and Magnus played with 98.7% accuracy. So yes, it's unlikely the opponent wasn't cheating. Every position was almost dead level, Magnus's advantage peaked at 0.50 on move 5 but after bxe4 Magnus's advantage didn't rise above 0.21 until black's very last move which only bumped Magnus's advantage up to 0.33.
It’s almost like a renaissance painting. Magnus with his head in his hands. Hikaru with this look of absolute befuddlement, like “how the fuck did this happen” Perfect.
can someone explain to me, what is the point of cheating in chess? (i dont mean top players like seen here, who ofc. get money for winning, but i mean the ≈ 1000Elo guys. Is their self esteem so low, that they have to boost it, by getting higher elo on a chess platform? How do they trick themselves into beliving that they accomplished something, and thus feeling good? I dont get it.
