The episode 'Cat Blanc' took things right up to 100. I mean, I was super, super surprised by how dark that episode was.

The gap between episode's in this show is insane.

The reason why Symbiosis is no longer with the show was actually confirmed a few months back. They were very late with episodes and had a lot of errors, so this is why the episode Startrain kept having to be delayed. They just weren’t a good fit for this show.

Fun fact: Thomas Astruc recently announced that the Awakening movie is not canon to the show and will serve as Jeremy Zags reimagining of the MLB story .....WTF is even happening anymore?

Being a miraculous fan I can clearly understand how my father as a Star Wars fan had felt when the movie order was kind of really messed up

The episode order is such a mess and I’m so glad you brought it up. The amount of sheer STRUGGLE I go through to try to watch the show on Netflix while also trying to get the canonical order correct is insane. It should be a given for episodes of a show to be put in the correct order from the start, the audience should not have to jump through hoops to try to figure out the plot line. I mean c’mon is it really that hard for them to put them in the correct order or at LEAST by air date?

They need to get more episode out about the backstory of Emily Agreste’s sisters family (Felix’s family) ik they got some juicy drama goin on with Gabriel

Felix being cat noir sounds sooo spicy ! Like imagine a bad guy is being a hero and is going through character development, considering Felix is like a more darker character. Adds so much dimension in my opinion

I love this show to death, but, MY GOD, the production and ordering are just RIDICULOUS.

Three of my biggest questions about the show are What “good purposes” was the moth miraculous supposed to be used for? Because how can you be a good person by enslaving others to get what you want? *And how the heck does someone use that miraculous in secret without having a secret room do you just grab a random butterfly if you don’t have a room full of them.?*

I’m new here, but have you ever tried Avatar: The Last Airbender? I know a lot of people have already watched it, but just a suggestion for anyone who hasn’t. It’s a really good cartoon with good development, story, plot, and sequels.

Regarding why they kicked off two of their animation teams: Symbiosis was fired due to adding in little inappropriateness with their animation (adding chest jiggle to Marinette, in episodes like Bakerix, and Startrain.) SAMG isn't working on the series because they got too expensive. But they still are working with them on other projects. - If you look closely in some scenes of Startrain you will see a lot of the action I was explaining ^

quick update: •There are 3 specials of 52 minutes that have been announced 1.Miraculous New York (coming on September 25th 2020 on Disney Channel USA) 2.Miraculous Shanghai(date is unknown but it's in production) 3.A Halloween special (it's probably canceled and the new special is not yet announced but there is a third special for for sure) •Though SAMG animation studio is suspended, It still has contract and is working on Miraculous New York and Miraculous Shanghai which are mentioned above. •Season 4 is pushed back to early 2021. •miraculous awakening is still on track to release in 2021. •Season 5 is in pre-production.Thomas and team is writing season 5. •A 2 minute special Covid19 episode is released on miraculous ladybug RU-vid channel. •Also Jeremy Zag posted a post with thomas saying -"So nice to have Thomas in LA ❤️ we’ve brainstormed a little bit of season 5, a little bit of the movie, the musical, comic books and Marinette travelling the world seeking for the lost kwamis... The origin episodes were actually the last two episodes of the first season. I personally loved watching it at the end because it gave it a nice conclusion to the story. Even tho it’s a bit ironic because they’re technically the beginning of everything lol.

Cat Blanc had poor lighting tbh, I think we all liked it because of the plot not the animation

French person/fan/too old to watch this speaking: The reason why the episodes start to release in automn in France is because it corelates with the start of class year for kids, after the summer vacations. TF1 (the main TV network in France) holds a time period dedicated to kids show and MLB is meant to fit in their schedules. Therefore, even when episodes are ready MONTHS before, TF1 waits for this period to start a new season.

And the fact that Disney plus now has rights to season 4 💀

I end up reading more fix it fics of miraculous ladybug than watching the show itself I dislike some of the writing choices that have massive effects on the episodes and show (cough chat Blanc ooc hawkmoth cough) but I like the premise of the show and the characters so I keep coming back

hello fellow miraculous fans its the future in 2021 to what supposedly season 5 comes out but season 4 isn't even out yet.

Well, guess what my friends, more news! Apparently, seasons 4&5 are set to release in 2021 due to the original release date being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. But...(and this is just from what I've heard so I'm not entirely sure) the Miraculous movie and shit are still being released late this year. Meaning we're getting spoilers for season 5 before it comes out from the movie, because apparently, the movie or musical, or whatever it is has some plot points from season 5. So yeah. crazy.

I used to love this show, but the writing is such a mess its just hard to enjoy any of it anymore

The show is a big mess, they introduced tons of side love with no interest in following any of them through (using them for character development I guess?) while making every fan who liked the Adrienette pairing lose interest (it's happening quicker and quicker, and as someone who prefers Lukanette and is sick of being bullied, yes bullied, by adrienette fans, it's honestly welcome) I guess what I'm saying is, the story is a train wreck as well as production and releases

The reason why Netflix is messed up is because it was actually aired in America in that order so anyone who was following it had to deal with that too. So, if I were you I’d look up what the wiki says the actual episode order is and watch it that way

When I first watched the show, the episode order was different Stormy Weather was the 1st episode, and the origin story wasn’t until episode 22 and 23... only a few episodes before the finale (I watched it on Netflix) so the episode order has been altered ??

Just a heads up, the episodes being mixed up is actually big fault to netflix. If you watch them on disney or look up the general episode order they're mostly correct and logical (except from the "how everything begun" eps) Idk why it's so mixed up tho.

I'm gonna go over to the fandom and say, "THE MIRACULOUS SUITS ARE MEANT TO CONFUSE HUMAN MINDS I'M NOT HUMAN" And people even after seeing the 2020 movie still say, "so Adrien can recognize this is this but he can't see that Marinette is Ladybug". And I'm not sure how the suits are suppose to confuse humans but they should give us an explanation soon. All we know is that it could make it harder for humans to recognize whoever is under the mask even if their face isn't well hidden.

The miraculous struggle of not being paitient enough to wait for english dubbed episodes so you gotta watch the french, portugese or spanish dub (depending on which ever one came first) and just guess what is going on based on the visuals until a kind fan will sub the episode.

I don't know if you'll read this comment but I've been in the fandom since 2015 and it's always been a huge mess. As you said, according to Thomas there isn't a chronological order and it doesn't matter how you watch the episodes. For me that's a terrible decision considering every season has 26 episodes and the lack of any continuity makes it impossible to have any character development. Also Netflix is the last place someone should look at when trying to figure out the order. Usually the fandom makes its own list with the correct order according to the production order or just figuring it out themselves. I remember that back in 2016 someone took out of their time to analyze the different dates that were mentioned/shown in the episodes and made a headcanon/fanon list with the order of the episodes. For s1 all I know is that Volpina is the last episode of the season but The Origins is meant to be watched last. The Origins aired in Korean (I think) after the whole season with the exception of Volpina which aired after that in French. Tbh I like the idea of watching the origins last, it feels more impactful after you've gotten to actually know the characters. Volpina aired in March of 2016 so that's like the official end of the season. Then we had to wait till Fall of 2017 for the second season. Now, this is where the mess continues. Every country has its own episode order and release schedule so it doesn't matter if the english dub is announced for let's say October the 20th, the spanish (for example) would get aired two weeks earlier and everyone would watch that in 240p in youtube without any subtitles while some generous fan who speaks the language makes a translation post on tumblr. And that's basically how it works. This happened with the episode Dark Owl and portuguese. I mean sometimes we would get the english dub first or it would get magically leaked, or the french (which happens the most often). But as a whole your option as a fan of MLB is a) Wait till you get a release date, wait for the episode, then see on social media that it's trending 1 month earlier because some random country aired it, go on youtube as fast as possible before the episode gets deleted and enjoy it in 240p quality or b) Wait for the whole season to get released while desperately trying to avoid getting spoiled (you won't be able to engage with the fandom in this case) then look for the correct order online and enjoy the new season. I remember that S3's finale was announced to release in Ukraine before the english dub and before Chat Blanc and Felix had even aired. And we had to watch it live on instagram, in ukrainian. But again, that's just for the fans who want to watch the episodes ASAP and engage with the fandom. Now, for the animation studios, I'm pretty sure SAMG won't work on S4 and S5 because they're working on the movie "Ladybug and Cat Noir Awakening" which is a pity because they should've focused on the main series. (Edit: as a whole the budget is spent on the movie instead of the main series which should be the priority, thank you Zag). Everyone loves SAMG and knows that they're the best. I know that a lot of people don't really care but God the difference is so visible. Chat Blanc actually had a little help from SAMG but you can see the animation isn't that good for example when Adrien calls out Marinette (before transforming into CN in front of her) and she looks at him or when in Glaciator CN offers her his hand and she looks at him - her eyes are just weird. It's pretty obvious. Everything looks stiff, kinda expressionless, weird and unfinished in general. Compare that to episodes like Ladybug or Puppeteer 2 where you can LITERALLY see the floor's reflection in Adrien's eyes, or the Coronavirus Special. Like come on, it's so pretty and fluid and their hair is so detailed, the movement is smooth, they have a variety of expressions (which is important since the show is inspired by anime), everything is so nice for the eye. And for such a popular show it's a pity that it has to look so unprofessional. It also bugs me that the animation is so different between different episodes. The saddest part is that a lot of popular artists are dropping the show because of it. As for the side projects and Jeremy Zag - this man is getting on everyone's nerves. He's constantly starting new projects and dropping them, he's desperarely trying to milk everything he can out of MLB. I mean, have you seen how incredibly expensive the merch is? The Christmas Special was supposed to be 1-hour long with better animation. Well, that didn't happen at all. There were also the Halloween special (supposed to have been released in 2017) and the Shang Hai (i think) one but well. Also the chibi series, the web episodes (no one asked for that), the comics, the live action movie and live action series (NO ONE WANTS THAT AT ALL), the 2D animated series (yeah that was mentioned) and freaking manga. Also a live action musical as in Broadway musical or something?? And like, nobody wants that and we all know it ain't happening. Jeremy had so many other projects like Melody or Pixie Girl which was supposed to air in 2017 and doesn't even have trailer or anything and is probably cancelled at this point. Pure chaos. The only thing that I'm 90% sure would happen is the animated movie because they actually make progress and even recorded some dub but who knows when it'll come out considering we have 2 more seasons and with MLB's schedule the show would end in 2022-2023 unless they speed the process. I still don't get the idea behind making a movie that serves as a musical, non-canon recap featuring the origins and the reveal (aka end of season 5), and not even have Thomas writing or doing any work on it. I don't even want to mention how he spoiled every possible miraculous user (even before s2), new characters, different villains and plot lines, the kwami swap, Marinette gettin the mouse miraculous, Adrien getting the snake one and so much more which ruined the show for a lot of people. Especially in 2017. Not to mention that Thomas never agreed on it but he couldn't do anything. And I mean, imagine if Rebecca Sugar just posted every possible fusion on her instagram, clip of Ruby and Sapphire's wedding on her story, revealed Pink's and Diamond's designs year or two before their appearance and just randomly announced that Rose was Pink Diamond on a Comic Con panel.

Can i just say how much i love the directors? Through all the prodectiom hell they’ve been through, we are here today still yelling at a dumb blond who cant see and a radish-pigtail looking beatiful girl who is the spotty brat! what a story to tell the grandkids!

Im actually really sad that SAMG left the production team bc although DQ is good, there is a clear and notable difference in animation quality between the two. I watched an episode of season 4 and the quality difference was very visible... I didn’t realize why it looked so different until now.
