I Hotwire all the cuts. That way you don’t risk a stretch cut that may relax and reveal itself later. Also, it saves you the 6 Chinese razor blades you’re going to dull when you’re finally done. All corners should have a 1/4 to 3/8 of overhang and cut on a 45 degree- that allows you to wrap that corner with no overlapping material, and protect the corner to wrap into the top side without wrinkles.

ditto. Hate the sunroof, they used a real cheap grade window . Ill never own another car with a sunroof. Looks cool in a magazine but totally unnecessary. But yes how much should I expect to pay ? ballpark ?

How about removing the fabric and coating the foam thats left behind with something? Silicone roof coating or plasti dip or flex seal?!? dont laugh, my car is a beater and i have no skill. TIA

Hello we highly recommend trying anything you want. We just aim to show the best at the time ways to properly repair your vehicle in a professional way with materials that will last . Many times shops do not explore different avenues as we use what we know will work and work quickly and efficiently. We also find when using inferior products and techniques it usually takes longer, cost more and %99 people end up paying a professional anyway and in most cases cost more because they have to correct the damages from those processes. Also please remember all vehicles are beaters however you methods to repair them and the quality of the job can quickly change them to nice vehicles that you are proud of.
