I like that the colour you draw with is nice and light, I'm using umbers at this stage and it all gets too dark too quickly. Also that it's a nice cool colour, you've got room to get warmer in steps - but my raw umber is already pretty warm. So I'm getting a fast drying underpainting but no real opportunity to explore temperature and tonal variation like you can here. 😬

you did not use the nerdrum limited pallete for some reason

The reason is that the additional colors are premixed out of the four core colors.

@@michaelm5926 That is because I keep the premixed colors in tubes. You just buy empty ones and fill them.
