Whatnauts, "I'll Erase Away Your Pain" 

From April of 1971, from the late Sylvia Robinson's All Platinum spin-off label, Stang Records, out of Englewood New Jersey, and co-produced by George Kerr, one of her stables' stalwarts, (the) Whatnauts, and probably their biggest hit, "I'll Erase Away Your Pain". They were kind-of comprised of studio musicians who sang slow jam ballads I grew up with and which were played on R&B stations in metro New York such as WWRL AM 1600, WNJR AM, Newark and even Frankie Crocker's WBLS FM 107.5 FM.
