A rare look at the frame exchange between Wabtec's building 60 and the EEC. This shows that indeed the 2 work together but as separate operations. Building 60 does work on the inbound frames before they head over to be completed in building 10. Along for the ride is CSX 7571.

Great video! It's great that Wabtec modernizes more and more locomotives. I wonder why they do not retain the old wide cabin?

Each rebuild is upgraded to "Gevo brains". It is simply more economical and more reliable to just outright replace the main cab and Aux cab that is pre-wired and pre-loaded with Gevo-grade hardware and software.

Huh? I wonder why that CN AC44C6M is in Erie when if not, the majority of the CN C6M fleet is being rebuilt down in Texas... oh and any updates on the NS side and what's currently for store in building 60 at the moment?

It was modified to straight air to work on the DMIR line.

Rebuilt or resale. Some dash 8s are to go to the G&W.
