Join the concrete crew as we demo, set up, and pour a wheelchair ramp for some really nice customers. We had a little bit of a late start but we knocked it out. Enjoy
@@tommosher8271 Dude, it was a small job, on a Friday. Customers were happy with the work. A little humor makes any day better in life. It was fun to see Tino, who’s usually more reserved, to have a funny moment!
I really hope Big Ray of Sunshine returns next season, he’s learning a lot this year, impressive performance on loading the trailer and skid loader! Goooood work 🤙🏽😎
Umm I don't know why he wouldn't....I don't know where he thinks he's gonna go that pays him more. Idk if u guys are aware, but Ryan pays these guys A LOT. Ya gotta think about it, a reg finisher for an average concrete company should start off at anywhere around $14-18/hr. Experienced with raises let's say a veteran worker is averaging, let's say a safe $24-26$/hr give or take $2/hr. Now....Victory is up north so what's on a $2 inflation rate so $26 an hour would probably be about equivalent to 28.00 an hour up North for Ryan is at. So that's with an experienced worker at a regular company. Adding in the two-dollar inflation rate for victory that would mean his starting workers are 16 to $20 an hour and then let's factor in it's a famous company that can pay a little more let's add another $2 for that so let's say a starting finisher at Victory is making a comfortable to $17+$20/hr to start. Experienced finishers at victory let's put them around $26--$30/hr. So it's probably really safe to say even being conservative and factoring in that you can say all of Victory outdoor services employees are experienced at finishing maybe except for ray. These guys are most likely making around 26 to $30 an hour while being prettyyyyyy confident that's accurate. So unless Ray is preparing to go work for another cool boss that gives him just as many overtime hours with you know a slack boss and cool employees that pays more than $30 an hour is highly unlikely and I'm going to even go ahead and say it's extremely rare I will bet I'm going to go ahead and bet $20 that Ray will most definitely be back next season and if he doesn't it's not because he found a higher-paying job it is most likely because of personal reasons or because of commuting reasons meaning he's moving and it's too far away
Ray could quit victory right now, and go make $31+ an hour with that class A and be home every night. He seems happy at victory but don’t assume that he couldn’t go make more money somewhere else lol Class A jobs right now are paying big money. But if he’s happy and enjoys the concrete work and Ryan can work the Mack this winter to keep ray earning then he will be back next year
Eric low key makes me irritated when he bashed on Ray😢 dude needs to let Ryan do the joking around, Eric makes it sound personal sometimes, give ray a break he was hired to drive and doesn’t have any experience in concrete. Let ray learn he’s too good of guy not to invest time into imo
Neighbors in some areas just can't help themselves. They stick their nose in and try to see how you inconvenienced them despite your best efforts. Great work as always.
I had to take a second to see if that was Annie or a trash bag goin in the bin 😂 I love it My wife and I have had some good laughs because of that tight editing! Go Autumn!
GREAT editing for sure, Autumn has really done an awesome job with the videos! What all the family does is amazing work… whether it’s concrete, editing, sales and shipping … it’s an all around amazing family!! I can’t say enough of how impressed I am with his work ethic and parenting skills (what he does reveal) and how they raise their children. They set a great example how this new generation should learn, and raise a family! I love this family And the Channel! They have my support/respect forever! (Sorry for long comment, just can’t say enough)
@@tommosher8271 have you really watched his videos? He runs a company? It isn’t all butterflies and sunshine, you gotta make it work. But he does joke around and try to get a good vibe. Many would be lucky to work for him. I worked in construction and Trust me there is generally many horrible bosses. He is a great boss, you’d be surprised what you’d find in construction.
I so enjoy your all's work!! I lost my son in June to kidney disease but Ray's smile warms my day. I love his smile and wellness to try and learn. He is a keeper.🙃
As soon as Ryan said 7:05. It was 7:05 at my house. Ryan you are such and inspiration. Due to you I've totally changed my life. Started a company and now working to make it grow. While I work a full time job. Went from being a dope head to being a sober wealthy man in less than a year! I owe my thoughts to you bud!
Pro tip : to make sure a corner is square measure 3ft off the corner on one side then 4ft off same corner in other direction and then connect two points as if u were making a triangle and that measurement should be 5ft if corner is square.
Everytime I make something square it looks crooked next to other existing things that aren't square so I just eyeball it from every direction and go with whatever looks best to the eye.
@@Bennysoldepends on what you’re building. Some things have to be square. Also, building a square corner does not equate to being parallel to nearby things. You may have to rotate that square to match.
Finally caught up to the newest videos and started watching from the start again. Really enjoy the content. better than any series I've watched honestly lol its been helping to keep me entertained at a hard time in my life. Keep up the good work
Would be pretty funny if Ryan bought the chunk of road in front of the property and changed the name of it to "Imagination St". Love what you do Ryan, keep it up!
Last couple vids, tensions been high, but I mean you have a point Ryan. You said that was twice jade has pooped of your truck & multiple times around the yard. So for bugs to be mad all the time or dish it out on you, is kinda a let down.
I like your beginning as you thank people, and then throwing your cat into the trash 🗑️ not! Now we’re into your days work. You’re very consistent and it’s amazing quality. Thanks 😊
that ramp looks wonderful. I do hope they're going to put handles both outside AND inside the ramp-rise. It would be super easy to place a foot wrong and fall of that edge (my sister has done that 2x at restaurants that don't have the smoothed-corner to their ramps). And a potted plant would be beautiful on that square between the ramp and the house. 🙂
LOL the neighbors had to put the crosswords down and get busy doing something else the neighborhood was exciting that day with Victory I think they were wanting a new ramp too Love it
This video had me laughing in several spots - When the homeowner came out with his dog, it cracked me up how he was telling Jade to take lessons. When he told Jade to "Whoa" it was hilarious especially since Jade just wiggled and waggled. The black lab is very well trained and could have started off being trained as a service dog but didn't quite make the cut in the end. My daughter trains dogs and Labs are commonly used for them. They are very smart, love to have a job, and bond well to their human. We have a family dog who is 13yo now and when we no longer have him, I'll be hoping to get a service dog for myself. I had a spine/cord injury about 12 years ago now and would benefit greatly from having one. My daughter, unfortunately, hasn't done that type of training so I'll gave to go about it the old fashioned way. We'll wait until our dog passes mostly because he is spoiled rotten and is very attached to me. He would be super jealous if I were to bring another dog home, especially if it's stuck to me all the time, haha. Plus, we already have 2 dogs and a cat here and I just can't manage another big(ish) dog. Our family dog is 85lb, second dog is 55lb and the cat is no slouch either... about 17lb (and not chubby - just a big boy). Anyways, enough about that... I'm still chuckling over Eric and Tino's fishing. Tino's fish impersonation was hilarious!!!
Had to comment on the hockey rules and hockey stick. I think you may know more than you think about hockey Ryan! You were right about the offsides, icing, and high sticking. Also, judging by the way you are holding the hockey stick you are a natural. Blessings!
I think I get more wound up with Ryan's guys dossing around & being useless than he does. Instead of letting the guys go home early one day, he needs to make everyone go back to the yard & they can only leave & go home once they can connect & disconnect the hydraulic hoses repeatedly & load & unload the skid-steer on & off the trailer. You can bet your life they learn to do it in miraculously fast.
You obviously dont know what he pays each of his crew members and what hes paying them to do. Theres different pay scales for different types of jobs. If your a finisher, that's what you get paid to do! A finisher doesn't operate and load equipment! That's a job for the equipment operator!
@@stevehamman4465 That is the case on large companies & construction sites but not small companies. Also on day 1 of Eric starting Ryan told him that nobody has job titles or ranks & everyone just mucks in with what needs doing at the time. Btw I've worked In construction for 35yrs as a Carpenter & Joiner in the UK & have worked on massive building projects & small domestic work.
it amazes me your guys cant see what the next step is without you telling them. when you load concrete and drop it on the road. you shouldnt have to go get your guys standing around leaning to come help you...
I really gotta tip my cap to Ray....no matter the situation he always comes out smiling.....no attitude ever!! Regardless of how much you brow beat him....he is a keeper!!
I agree 100%. Especially in this episode. Homie had explosive diarrhea and still managed to keep a smile on his face and maintain a positive attitude despite probably having shart on the inside of his boxers. He probably loved basking in the smell of in while driving down the road in his dump with the windows up and no a/c. No wonder he was in such good spirits.
It’s amazing how miserable ppl are to call the police on a good tradesman like Ryan. I’d hate to think what they’d do if they had dodgy trades people who didn’t care as much. The police must have so much of their time wasted by miserable people with nothing better to do.
Ya never know these days some shady contractors out there it's not like it use to be can't trust most folks these days and I'm not saying victory is shady
@@blacksmokematters4521 yea because a company that has their names literally plastered on every vehicle and matching shirts are shady! Smmh! You're a KEN!

Hey Ryan. Pleaee mention to bugs that dogs chewing wood is extremly dangerous to the dog. Just lost my dog from it. Tiny pieces got stuck in his intestines. I couldnt afford the 10k surgery and had to put him down. I still havent forgiven myself.
Ryan put a honey bucket on the form truck and a couple of honey buckets on your new property that maybe will help with your cost of course you have to lay down the law with them. Just let bug's have a talk with them they will never take bathroom breaks again
Hockey... the best sport known to mankind. Huge in the Northern U.S. and Canada. Great for youths, students, women, men, and anyone who just wans to get a pickup game going. I must say that I haven't seen the Victory Outdoor Services team on the ice yet. I imagine that Big Ray of Sunshine is your goalie, Bugz is your center, Eric and Franny are your wingers, and you and Ryan JR. are defensemen. I'm sure that Tino misses most of the games because his car broke down or he's' just around the corner'... :) My family are Boston Bruins fans primarily, though we are also fans of the Buffalo Sabres, followed by the New York Rangers. I'll watch just about any hockey on t.v. College hockey is awesome! The Yale/Quinnipiac rivalry is a fun one to watch. Love watching the Maine Black Bears, or the Boston College/Boston University games. High School and youth hockey is great to watch, and the teams really appreciate the support and turn out. Anyway... thanks for the video! Stay Safe Folks!!!
Rays the best ever. Me and him both live by the same motto "For every dollar my boss makes I make a dime that's why when I poopity dupity it's on company time" 😂 Id love a shout out from big ray
Yet another great video. But I have this weird feeling we might be seeing the end of Bugs and Jade. Either way, keep up the great videos Ryan and enjoy the down season and the holidays. Hopefully we get some winter shop videos again.
The Victory guys are putting in a wheelchair ramp for an old couple and the neighbors are being busy body sticking their nose where it’s not there business . They should be ashamed of themselves.
I can't understand why the guys still can't unhook/hook up attachments to the skid loader. Almost every job Ryan has to end up doing it. Come on guys...
@@tnolan3176 The amount of times Ryan shoots of to sort something & comes back & every one of them is just sitting around on the phone doing nothing when they could be sweeping, tidying, putting stuff away etc. I do think Ryan's is beginning to get tired of it now, he's even getting annoyed with Bug's as he's out a few steps in with wrong levels, saw cut stuff wonky & just constantly ranting & in a bad mood which grinds everyone down when it's constant.
And what have we learned today? A lot about our Sunshine Ray. Bless his heart. I personally don't mind when Mt. Ray is underway. Don't worry Sir . Hope to see you next concrete season 😊.

Rays deserves no credit for anything his hand still needs to held to do every single thing. Don’t come back next season your useless . Your FIRED 🎉 🎉 🎉

Can you all imagine if one of the crew dropped that concrete in the road, Man Ryan would be all over them, but since it was Ryan, ehh, no biggie, stuff happens. Because you see Ryan is differant.
Bugs is a great worker but his attitude is beyond annoying at this point.. and the dog he has zero respect for others property.. including your own truck. He’s destroying your truck day by day.. he doesn’t watch his dog on countless job sites.. for the amount of complaining he does he doesn’t have a foot to actually stand on.
@paulrivers7248 why, he is the only one who was able to do any work without Ryan holding thier hand the whole time. Also he was never late. Not sure why you dislike him so much, is it because all you want to see is goofing off in a video? Also funny how you say the dog is so bad, pretty sure that dog has caused the least amount of damage to property then all the guys there, a little hole dug in a yard is nothing compared to the huge ruts left from the guys driving in random peoples yards!
