Thank you! I’ve been doing yoga with you now for 2+ years and recently broke my big left toe. I’m in a boot for TWO months and was feeling really depressed about not walking much or doing yoga, then I remember seeing chair yoga with you, and I realized I can still stay connected to my practice despite this injury. Hooray! Not gonna lie that months of no down dog is going to be hard for me, but Thanks for reminding me of what I still can do. Grateful in CA. Xoxo

Thanks for this - my sister recommended chair yoga for me - I have a on-going mid spine pain and waiting on pain relief surgery after COVID-19 - this practice was great while I'm at home social distancing.

Thank you so much for this video I’m in wheelchair and I’m so grateful for you taking your time and making this for myself and others as our disability should not exclude us from doing what others can so again thank you so much really thoughtful of you and I also suffer with a lot of pain and found this really relaxing a simple video but with big benefits so thank you again x x

Thanks, Adriene! I broke my ankle and have been attempting some back yoga poses. This was a nice change of pace that didn’t hurt my leg at all! Always love your videos! I do one everyone morning (when I’m not broken!).

The Universe has aligned once more! I got into a mild car accident today (am totally fine - just a sore shoulder!), and I knew I wouldn't be able to do the usual planks, down dogs, etc, and this is absolutely perfect for me today!

As a recovering stroke patient this is really a helpful video. Just proof that doctors don't know everything. I wasn't supposed to move or talk again. I'm moving and talking. It's not as good as it was but I'm getting there.

As a paraplegic who practices tai chi every day it is very much appreciated to get some good yoga instruction. Your non-sequiturs are refreshing. My service dog Logan says hello to Benjie. FYI When I reach down for stability I grab hold of my tire or push rims. Few chairs have low handles. Power chairs have armrests at elbow level.

Thank you so so so much for this. My father is in a wheelchair and we have been talking about yoga for people like him. He was very active before his accident put him in a wheelchair and he misses movement. This is so great.

I just came home from having brain surgery and I can’t walk and have limited mobility in my neck and this practice saved me! I was so scared of losing such a wonderful piece of my selfcare practice. Thank you for everything you do. This was wonderful!

Thank you so much Adriene! It means the world to me to have these and I struggle with auto immune diseases one of which is rheumatoid arthritis. I loved this! I am not wheelchair bound but have had problems with my shoulders in the past couple of years so a little extra upper body attention that doesn’t involve the floor is very welcome! I also think it’s wonderful to include all abilities. Bless you! Namaste!

Hi Adrienne thank you for providing this video. I severely injured my right knee after falling at the beach. I am absolutely gutted that I couldn't do yoga anymore due to my bad knee but thanks to you I can exercise so I am eternally grateful for this video. Please keep more videos like this coming.

Hi Adrene! Thank you for bringing light into these recent trying days/months. I'm an occupational therapist & work at a school with children and young adults with significant physical disabilities. Since March (due the Corona Virus) I've been trying to provide services via zoom and virtual activities. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS VIDEO - and so do several of the families I'm working with. Doing this video "together" has added another dimension to what I worried would be unproductive sessions. Yoga and a new sense of accomplishment and confidence is carrying over into my students' every day lives at home. They are learning that yoga truly is for everyone with so many benefits. The only issue is that videos like this are limited. I'm hoping that you'll consider making more.... We love you! Namaste :)

Hey A. So I’ve been doing yoga with you for about two years. You’ve changed my life, my body, my soul - all for the better. Recently I injured my right knee and have been going to PT. Prognosis? Sprained ligaments. No yoga. Lots of strength training for my “long elegant weak muscles” lol. However, couldn’t stand it anymore. Knew you would have something. Looked up this video. Today I fell down from bicycle..my face got some really painful brushes and my knee is not easy to move. But thank's to Adriene...I still can do so some evening yoga, like every day. Bless you ❤

Hi Adriene, I just wanna say thank you so much for this beautiful practice. This day last year I had a terrible car accident and was unable to walk for two months. I used a wheelchair and I never thought I would do yoga again. Now I'm thankfully fully recovered and working on inversions ! I was so surprised to see you did this wheelchair yoga practice today of all days. It really helped me reflect on my recovery this whole year and I can't thank you enough. wow thank you once again Adriene. Strained my calf and I am off most weight bearing for a while so this saved me. I have been doing all your 30 day challenges and had to stop at day 160 or. so... missed you every morning but now I can do this :) you are very special and so is Benji :)

My first thought after my car accident in December was, but I want to keep doing yoga with Adriene! I unfortunately can't keep up with 30 days of yoga yet, but when I'm walking again you can bet I'll be there! Thanks for making a video I can do in the meantime. How have I missed this video from October? Last year I emailed Adriene to ask if she would consider posting a video to her You Tube channel for wheelchair yoga. I love the videos Adriene posts and have adapted a number of movements to suit my needs but thought I'd be cheeky and make a request for a routine you could do in a wheelchair. No idea if this video is in response to my email but regardless THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for this amazing video and apologies this thanks comes so long after you shared the video. It's absolutely perfect and 11 minutes of yoga magnificence.

I am a wheelchair user and was really happy to see this video. I've been binge watching your videos of late. I know watching yoga videos in my yoga pants doesn't count as exercise, but my personal approach is to watch a routine out and assess what my body can and can't manage, or what would be medically inadvisable. If the routine has enough content that I can do, I go ahead and stretch or just rest in lotus and breathe when there are bits I can't. I have my own tried and tested routine but we all need some variety and I love your videos! This routine will defo come in handy for when I'm in my chair and have some time on my hands. One for the train maybe. Thanks again. xxx

I've been following the April '22 calendar verbatim- and it's been eerie, how often the daily practice provides what I didn't realize I needed. Today I'm sick w/ a low fever... thought I would have to break my months-long yoga streak- then saw this brief, accessible yoga practice on my calendar, and felt humbled and grateful. Felt like I was actually helping my recovery, rather than stubbornly pushing through something that would elongate it. Thank you!

Refresh Day 28: Day 15 for my personal 365-day yoga journey. This practice was rather challenging since my cat decided to chill on my shoulder the whole time, but it also made me feel incredibly good. Haven't smiled that much in some time. Thank you for making yoga inclusive🥰

Personal Energize Day 9, 57 days in a row. Still hip pain, still figuring out how to keep my yoga journey going, so I did the next chair video I could find. Not completely satisfied but I do need to rest that hip, soooo... I hope it gets better soon

Personal Energize Day 10 and here again... it's really hard to commit to a practice that doesn't harm my injured body any further as I'm really ambitious and feel like catering to my needs right now is right, but it also feels like cheating. I grew up with the belief that no matter the circumstances you just have to push through. It's a really toxic way of thinking I know but it's also something that's really hard to shed. So instead of comitting to this month's calendar I'll commit to this: I will keep up my daily practice but I will only do this video (or similars if I can find any) until my doctor's appointment in two weeks and take their advice from then on. So here's to day 58 in a row and day 1 of actually listening to my body. Namaste

Blessed Beloved Beauties! Refresh Day-28 is great for people who work in an office space. I am heading to my virtual job from my home office soon. I am thrilled my shoulders are lubricated after this practice. Now it's time to meditate!🧘🏾‍♀️ Namaste and Ase! 🦋❤🦋

Thank you for this Adriene! I was born with spina bifida so im in a wheelchair because of it and its sometimes hard to find good workouts for me. Lately ive been extremely stressed and my anxiety issues have been super bad so ive had trouble with finding ways to relax my body i hope this will help me.

Refresh day 28- this was a lovely practice. I thought it might not be the best practice for me since I'm not in a wheelchair but I was wrong. This was a good way to start out the day.

A non-weight-bearing foot fracture has had me missing my yoga practice. The wheelchair yoga video was a blessing from the Universe. Thank you for sending it at the perfect time.

Hi ☺️ I’m a quadriplegic C4 C5 C6! My injury came from a diving accident 2 years ago. I was only able to move my eyes! I’m doing much better now. I recently started making videos to help motivate those like me! Please consider checking out my channel! Thank you 🙏 god bless!!!

Facing non-weight-bearing surgery beginning next week on my feet, and I am terrified of the inactivity and losing core and muscle strength. First, I will have my right foot done, then my left. Did you find a yoga practice to exclude extremities that are non-functional?

Thanks so much for this - I'm just adjusting to life with a fractured ankle and it's been so helpful. I don't suppose you could do a vid for people in a cast? I'm aware I could do some floor work, and I will, but one of your loving, encouraging videos would really help!! Lots of love xx
