I've noticed a lot of megatron impressions these days go down that route. I think it's because it hits that nice sweet spot between iconic and recogniably megatron and not going to kill your throat.

Honestly it was, Starscream ruins everything

I mean, it’s one less Deceptacon. Plus, who’s to say that Megatron didn’t eventually check on Starscream, just to see his metal bits all over the place. He soon sees a strange contraption with a button in the middle of the mess. Megatron could have picked it up and pressed the button, out of curiosity, as well. But this is all mental gymnastics when I should take this short fan animation for what it is.
