Zoomed over here after the 508 to see what I believe is an unrecorded Xcel dam failure siren. It was neat hearing another one of these after so long. It malfunctioned and did a winter weather warning voice at the end of the test, which I didn't know these sirens were even capable of doing. We also confirmed via audio recorder that this siren does not sound off with the Dunn County weather sirens at 10 AM for the regular test. Thanks for watching, and enjoy!
The Whelens in Dunn County are tested on the first Monday of every month at around 10:15 AM, 15 minutes after the county’s weather sirens are tested.
