When a person wins too many times, the game loses meaning, but you learn by losing, which is the most significant part of how brilliant chess is, alongside the respect the two chess players are in a game of patience and wits.

Damn! I'm SUPER Impressed by your storytelling!!! You really made this seem like the most EPIC victory of all time just from the way you presented this game. This is literally perfect storytelling if I've ever seen it! On a side note, trying to even understand the logic that goes on in top level chess is well, impossible (as it should be for someone who barely ever crossed 1700 on lichess a handful of times in his life). Even after the first correct move was given at the end, I still had a hard time understanding the full why of said move. There is a feature length documentary about Mairo Kart DS which had amazing storytelling in it of itself. That video is an hour and a half documentary which absolutely nailed everything. But to say the storytelling here pretty much felt quite a lot better THAN THAT is no small feat! Edit: This perfect storytelling I was referring to starts at 1:00. Everything before that is just average. But also, the music changes at around 4:00, that's when the storytelling starts to feel a bit inconsistent all of a sudden. I'm mentioning this to show that I'm not ignoring the flaws, but still, despite this, I still love this presentation of the game, and the fact that Nodirbek Abdusattorov managed to win the World Rapid Finals 2021 up against none other than Magnus Carlsen really expedites my appreciation for this video, and in a way, the game covered as well.

This kid ran through everyone else but magnus still gave his a fight, one of my favorite chess players

i dont even really play chess besides messing around with friends but im one of the best at my highschool, but when i watch these guys its blows me away how someone the same age as me was able to defeat the world champ. reminds me how small and insignificant my acheivments are in the wide scheme of things

Im a bit confused, @ 5:11 the opponent gets to promote to Queen on H8. Magnus will move pawn from B3 to B2. White will move the queen to H8 to A8 to check, Magnus moves King A1 TO B1. At that point, I think there is a way to maneuver where you can take the white's new queen by sacrificing Magnus newly promoted queen and force a stalemate with only 2 kings left on the board.

So even the World Champion makes mistakes 😃😃
