I tore my acl in December had surgery the first day of February and I’ve returned to no contact rugby and haven’t retore it. The point is to be careful you can return to no contact early it depends on knee strength and stability after/what sport you play/ and how careful you are with where you play and how consistent you play

What sort of rehab exercises would you recommend for getting back into cricket? Just had my ACL reconstruction last week and am looking to get back early next year at around the 8.5 - 9 month mark

Sir, I have undergone MPFL reconstruction,there were partial ACL tear , chondral injury and fracture to patella and more. It's been 2 years and now also I have difficulty in stair climbing and ADL . So if there is any way I can contact you and get more information.

Hi! Thank you so much for your message! I’m afraid we don’t offer a clinical service ourselves along side the videos - are you attending physiotherapy in your local area?

Hi, if i come back at 10/11 months and I’m both physically and mentally ready, is that still okay?

Hi! Key thing will be the physical tests to hopefully confirm this for you with accuracy

What if the patient completes all the tests successfully before the 9 months mark is it safe then to start competitive sports gradually?

Sir, If i started at 5 and half months playing team sport non-contact and I passed the tests and I'm mentally too ready to play does it worth to return at 6 to 7 months to contact sport?
@ClinicalPhysio
@ClinicalPhysio Год назад
Seemingly it’s better to wait! That’s what the aim of this research was… even people who had passed the relevant testing but still returned to sport earlier had these issues. I cannot comment on your situation specifically, but this is the viewpoint of the research
@22kran

Thank you for your answer sir, and I have one more question does the quad and isometrics training improving your chances to do not re-injur your knee again. Im will be very glad if you can answer this question! Thank you btw
@ClinicalPhysio
@ClinicalPhysio Год назад
@@22kran Any quads strengthening will always contribute to improvements and reduce the risk of re-injury (as long as it is not overloading). But of course it has to be done with all the other factors as well (proprioception, gout strength, hamstring strength etc)

I tore my acl(and I have some small extra tears, (UPGRADE📈)) 3 weeks ago(or maybe earlier), because I probably tore my ACL 4 months back but me being myself I didn't go to a doctor, now I have surgery in 5 a 6 weeks, can't play soccer for a year. now I am going to train my programming skills...

@@anujkharat21 Firstly i didn't know what you meant but after some research i do, In The Netherlands(where i live) they probably use the patellar if that is possible. I havn't heard that there was a option, can also be of my age, I in/around my puberty. I notice that I am not very well informed in things that have something to do with medical stuff in the Netherlands anyway.
