We’re a vulnerable group of people, not some QAnon echo chamber. My past experiences with delusions and then hearing about conspiracy theories couldn’t be further apart.

I knew my great grandmother had it so we all were more sort of aware of the symptoms etc. Mid psychosis though, I have no awareness about it at all sometimes.

Lots of people believe the whole human race descended from two people and Moses literally walked on the floor of the split Red Sea during the Exodus. Humans aren't inherently intelligent or rational beings, those skills must be practiced and even then we remain fallible. I believe what we refer to now as conspiracy theories is the process of rationalization and mythologisation that all human societies have engaged in. Of course, now there is a broader societal consensus that this process of theorycrafting and sourcing from anecdotes is harmful, and thus a higher emphasis on verifiable information(forensics, geology, etc) and academic rigor through peer review. Sorry for the spiel, your comment just touched on a thought I've had for a while.

He called it chronological snobbery, defined as "an argument that the thinking, art, or science of an earlier time is inherently inferior to that of the present, simply by virtue of its temporal priority or the belief that since civilization has advanced in certain areas, people of earlier periods were less intelligent."

It's even simpler than that sadly֫. They're lazy, they're not even putting in the effort to reach hateful man, but understand you are correct most of them are hateful, since now it's jealousy + laziness. The base the pyramid is built on (it's been a while since I've researched the topic so forgive if my numbers are a little off) is level to within 3/4 of an inch drop across a five acre surface. It is aligned to TRUE north (not magnetic north) it's proportions encode multiple complex mathematic concepts such as pi and phi, even going so far as to have calendrical data encoded into its measurements and that's not even taking into consideration that historical accounts of the pyramid before the exterior casing stones were harvested to rebuild cities were stated to have been polished to a mirror finish so perfectly fitted that you could see no seems between them. Even if it were theoretically possible for that to have been the case that it was built by a bronze age people, you are discussing the labor of thousands of people across multiple generations of people, not a single generation with the time frame given in light of the amount of cutting necessary just for the granite. Across all that timespan, you would have to have had multiple generations of equally skilled craftsmen that were so perfectly preserved in knowledge that surely there records would have existed on the creation of said techniques necessary. But you don't even have historical evidence for that. In light of all these points it's significantly more believable that giant aliens from outer space came and built them instead of the idea that it was built by Bronze Age peoples. And for the record I don't believe in aliens. The assertion that it was built using ramps, plumbs, logs, and copper hand tools is somehow MORE ridiculous than the idea of space Yakub
