I literally always wonder what that glowing light was I literally saw it in the distance when I started and haven’t approached since. I’m loving your vids btw I’m just now getting through botw and your approachable and calm attitude makes your videos Leagues better than other creators tbh by far my favorite channel rn. I love to go Blupee hunting while he's on the mountain. I set my sensor for Blupees and chase them all over before he leaves. The only break I take is to go to what I call mushroom cove to grab those beetles because they have to be collected at night. There's a respawning diamond on the mountain, too. Even when he's not there.
If you want - try riding the Lord of the Mountain!! There's also a ton of hearty lizards - over by the bare trees overlooking Jeddo Bridge - when the mountain is glowing during the day. If you are going after the beetles - definitely use your "sneaky" Shikah armor and I've even used a sneaky potion, and taken off my weapons. When you jump on the tree - find the spot where there's no beetles. Tons of Blupees too - there is literally everything including a diamond that respawns - except fish, snails and Fire Lizards - on this mountain during the glowing time. It's named after Nintendo's former CEO Satoru Iwata who died during the creation of BOTW - he is the Lord of the Mountain.

Man I’m telling you idk how many times I’ve went to that mountain when I saw the light and it would always disappear before I reached it everytime. I’ve had this game since it came out and I’m just now learning about the lord of the mountain, I had no idea it existed 😂 I don’t watch video tutorials on my games because I was to experience them first hand myself. This is wild, now I will go check it out and try to see if I can find him. Also just got TOTK so I’m excited to learn new things with that as well. Hopefully it won’t take me as long 😅
I'm so mad at myself because today I seen the green light and wondered what it was but ignored it and I was trying to find the horse at the time I'm so sad😭
I always wonder what that light was and the first time I get there I was in so much AWE that so many blupees. I was glad I discover it myself than watching on other gameplays
Does the Lord of the Mountain spawn every time there is a Crescent Moon? I've asked Hino and he said there's a Crescent Moon, but I don't see a glow yet (it's nighttime).
Yes he will spawn on the crescent moon however, it is a random part of the day … It could be at night time it could be during the day, but it is always on a crescent moon
