"Im gonna make a sword so i can kill those enemies faster" never makes a sword and then complains about enemies being strong and not being able to kill them. I also love how abrupt your endings are too. Definitely my favourite youtuber

"Why am I dying so much?" *sells meat instead of cooking it and using it to heal*

"Don't touch my stuff" *Skeleton slowly moves hand* "I said don't!" ( For some reason it made me think of every little 3/4 year old that does that sort of thing. )

Use the shrines. You have access to the “forage shrine”, which I think gives you more exp from harvesting crops and makes crops spawn more, or something along those lines.

DF is the best his videos are so lowkey and entertaining with boring game loops that somehow keep my attention while always being abble to make me laugh he ends his videos hilariously his ideas are awesome and he has so much enderence for these games and how quick he just stars his videos are awesome. He is the best.

kill the beets and the beet boss at the same time, save them until then some tips: FARMING IS OP YOU CAN SELL THE SEEDS FOR A TON OF GOLD (pumpkins are best in my experience) another gold strat is afk fish traps, you get a ton of artifacts just make sure you have a drone or auto harvesting fish traps also bows might be useful if you get infinite quiver early

I love seein the progression in games like this where DF rly found a niche he enjoyed for a while and rly drove it into the ground bcuz it was just so fun to play for him... Bcuz theres always vids like this from the early era of the game where DF just smashes his face at a wall tryin to figure out why nothin is workin and yet youtube recommends a vid right after of him being absurdly awesome and makin trillions of gold or gettin hundreds of stacks of blessings in Undermine. Its so grt to see him master a game and just start to rly investigate what makes a game tick the way it does and how best to exploit it for maximum gains.

I'm someone that does alot of grinding for fun. I just wanted to say I really enjoy the condensed versions of your games.

A sword and cooked food for healing would help a ton. Cooked fish, cooked meat, and if you unlock windmills, bread. That "useless" wheat turned into bread plus a bit of farming formed my main food source when I was playing hard mode. ;)

Cooked meat and fish don't use skill points anymore, so you literally can't die anymore, just eat it. Also when low energy hits your hp, it restores nearly half of the bar. So you can wait until you lose a heart and then use cooked food to get full health and ~80% of energy just for one bite.

Oh I beat hardmode when it came out and was a bit disappointed in how easy it was. At the beginning, it's a bit of nuisance, but once you get some stuff going it becomes a LOT easier

Hard mode seems decidedly less fun than the main game. Lots of sitting around and waiting for stamina, building things like fish traps seem unreasonably costly, and enemies can trash you pretty easily at the beginning, leading to a lot of loading screens. I'm sure it's someone's cup of tea, but probably not mine.
