Most of our foot work is due to inadequate wear. It’s as though our cows live on shag carpet! Harry did a great job and this steer was a bit more comfortable as result!
I enjoy your videos you are a great person and teacher! The students are very lucky to be taught by you! It is obvious that you love your profession and the animals too!
Watched this with the closed captioning on bc mom's watching the ball game. lol'd at the noise from the grinder being referred to as "music." Glad the little dude will have an easier time walking now.
It looks to me like even the grinder has a harder time dealing with such rock hard hooves compared to certain dairy cattle in a wetter region. Might not be the prettiest trim but if it works it works. That's all that matters.
Customer walks into the store and without knowing walks out with a new pair of shoes 🤔🤔 hmmmmm You are right about the cycle of life. We’ll done with a great outcome Thanks for sharing Love your work
Nice thick hard hooves, definitely sand, or hard dirt. No bruising, white line cracks, or other abnormal lesions. That's great. Do you, in Australia, have professional hoof trimmers?
This little steer was coping just fine. The only reason he was struggling is because it was a novel situation. A sling is helpful with bigger animals requiring more time. Cheers!
He might but I'm sure he would love to teach Enoch and his students how to trim cattle in Australia. I'm sure AUST would love to have a few cattle trimmers around.
