The most heart wrenching cases for me are the one's where the suspect is harming their own family. I can't imagine how helpless and surreal it must be to suddenly be at the mercy of your own family member, pleading for your life. Its terrifying and truly awful.
Why the cops are treating the victim about the same as the suspect? No-one comforted her, no one offered her water, no one offered her anything to cover herself...WHY WAS THIS DUDE OUT OF PRISON WITH THREE KIDNAPPING CONVICTIONS
Also, it didn't seem like they were in "urgency" to get to the victim. Laughing and cracking jokes, taking their own sweet time. That guy could have killed her and hid her body, while they were joking around with themselves. Disgraceful and shameful on their part. Not to mention, how they treated her. Provided no assistance, not even a jacket??
"Thankfully, the young victim was found to be uninjured" ??? Horrifically, the blood on the bed (which the officer mentioned multiple times) indicates the opposite! Besides physical there will also be a lifetime of mental trauma. What a tragedy 😞 EDIT: Honestly that clip was the most disturbing video I have ever seen here on youtube.
That last video got my blood boiling! All those officers, knowing that a girl might be in danger are just standing there laughing and chatting away like it's their break time. Upon getting to her they did not immediately provide comfort of any sort seeing that she's shaken up. I'm only seeing what is here, but its saying alot! Someone tell me otherwise. AKRON police department, DO BETTER!
30:18 "increased the urgency"? I saw them laughing & joking I usually try to understand why the police do what they did Nothing could explain this horrific police reactions
If you watch the whole video on a different channel it makes more sense. They were waiting for a ram to get the door and didn’t know they severity of the situation
That last case what was up with the police laughing and joking outside. They did nothing to provide assistance to that girl. One of them actually smiling right in front of her.
I saw that and felt upset for her. Like this girl has been abused and no one is comforting her. Yet this dumbass is laughing and smiling in her face, even if it about another situation he should not being right now. That poor girl.
You guys are watching it out of context. When the officers were laughing outside the shed, they had no idea a female was inside at this point. They were waiting for information from the home owner, who was at that time speaking to a complete different officer. It's easy to judge after the fact when you have all the information...but things are fluid and it's not obvious who knows what and when. These guys obviously changed the way the spoke and acted once they realized what they actually had.
@@babysenpai3883 It was inappropriate, and he should have controlled and not done it in front of the victim. At the same time, police see this kind of thing ALL the time and when you see something so many times, you become desensitized to it. What you see as a horrible disgusting scene, may just be a Tuesday night for him.... Not really defending him, but as I know people who are in law enforcement, its not easy to be around all this stuff. Sometimes, humor is the best tool they have to keep their sanity.
Lots of details missed here - the man who abducted the 8 yr old sexually assaulted her and was charged + convicted for it. The last video - the woman had severe facial fractures/broken orbital sockets and jaw.
Also, the police had already checked prior and didn't find the girl in the room. They had to go back and check again, when someone from the hotel tipped them off.
"hold on im getting dressed" when he yelled that back at the cops when they tried bashing the door down i was like 'oh god please not for the reason i think'

I've pondered on body cam videos. In a lot. They are released usually from the freedom of information act. Technically they can't be owned by anyone since by this point it is publicly released by a state or federal government office. I also am worried about the long term effects of mentally ill people. They will always be known as that dude online. But I will add that most body cams show the worst of humanity, cops and criminals. But imagine you have a mental breakdown and you hear voices and you no longer are who you used to be and you do something dumb in front of a cop with a body cam.
To the people mad about the last one. Dispatch will make the call to "stage" when they have a situation like this where they donnot know what the perceived threat may be. Running in guns blazing without proper tactical teams and procedures can lead to death or injury of the victims and officers. Staging means they must hold position at the entry until the word is given to proceed. Not everything is able to be handled as quickly as the public may think. There are legitimate reasons for this! By doing so, they saved that girls life.
Dispatch isn't their you cant always wait on them to tell you to proceed and the lady already told them he was inside and a womanas well that has already been seen with abusive marks on her. Either way they was standing around laughing and cutting up (staging) for entirely to long! Once they announced they are 👮 and no one inside responded they should have moved faster about getting into the building and not laughing about a AXE that the cop has had and been on the force 20 years and never used it. They should have made entry in less that half the time that they did it in, the victims safety comes first and if you dont have eyes on you have to assume the worst and get eyes on ASAP, you don't give suspects time to harm/ terminate the life of their hostages or give the suspects time arm themselves with whatever they can find and/or fortify their position, or hide. The cops didn't think it was as serious as what it actually was or they was scared to see what was on the other side of the door without a dozen cops with guns ready.
The Last Victim, the Cops sermed horrified, Not one of them offered her anything not Water that she requested, not a blanket, shirt, their Jacket, seeing her shivering. WTF Guys, come on, We're BETTER THAT THAT. AMEN. BIG JIM NEW HAMPSHIRE USA AKA BOSTON STRONG
I’ve noticed the full story of some of these cases (and in previous vids) aren’t told. Is it because you make light of them, with the cartoon type background between clips? Because I know some of these victims were hurt - physically, s…ally and therefore obviously suffer emotionally and mentally.
It didn't look like the cops were in a state of "urgency" in the last clip. The perp could've killed her, while they were cracking jokes and laughing around. The way they handled the victim. No empathy on their parts. Zero assistance, could have atleast given her a jacket, to cover her up. One of them can even be seen laughing, when the victim came out of the shed. That department needs to seriously pull their socks up.
Yo, haven't gotten here early before. Love this channel. I'm obsessed with police, and crime stuff, and this stuff gives me a lot of insight and information on things I'd like to know.
Oh hell no….if someone tried to snatch my kid, all hell would break loose. I would be the one going to jail that day. Why don’t they keep these weirdos in jail????
First Cloe came down the ladder, i thought she was wearing sun glasses. That is just brutal and overkill, the man responsible should pay accordingly 😅 Hope Cloe has found some peace .... Looking at my own background she will learn to live with it not ever forgetting😮 Horror
Uhh.. I don't think you know how copyright works. Do you often talk with such confidence on other topics you aren't educated on? Do you go into things like bioengineering or astrophysics forums and see an intense debate going on and feel the need to jump in and insist "NO, YOU'RE WRONG!" Because I don't see the difference or reason why you'd feel so confident, undeservedly so, to talk about copyright when that isn't the case.
I know we all find the case of William kidnapping that poor women (Chloe) dispicable because of how the police acted. Imagine being her in that shed and hearing men laughing outside and finding out they were the police whose job is to keep you safe. They gave William so much time to kill her. There was no urgency and i know they didnt know she had gasoline poured on her, but they gave that PoS so much time to light a match. They were in no hurry to try get her medical attention either. At the very least the black eyes should have shown that she had been beaten badly.
Gun shots are milliseconds fast. Microphones max out at 110db. The result is recorded gun shots sound much quieter than live. Live shots hurt your ears from 30 feet away.
11:34 Can I just confirm: Did they drop that guy when he was standing on the other side of the room, by himself in a room with a crying woman and child in a scenario where they knew a father had taken his family hostage. It's hard to tell as they've blurred half of the screen. My guess is they didn't know if he had a gun or not? Shouldn't they have a good sense if he has a legally bought gun? If there's a case where firearms police should be a little less trigger happy, it'd be one where the hostage taker is a mentally ill father, likely in the same room as his child. I understand that it's easy to be idealistic while not having to deal with the real world realities, btw
He had a samurai sword n was threatening to kill his family. He survived his injuries which I believe they said was just to his legs. They could of used a less lethal way to subdue him, like bean bag gun, pellet gun type thing.
How was the little kid found to have been uninjured when there was blood? Oh poor baby girl. Just a little kid, man. That life sentence better include without the possibility of parole.
A dozen men joking around having a great time while the suspect could be doing who knows what to her at the same tine is actually sickening. Imagine what she is thinking hearing a bunch of men announcing their police officers followed by laughter
It’s a very sad day when you can’t not only leave your kids in the car but you also can’t leave Granny either! Really tired of people who are willing to hurt others because they want your stuff! I don’t know what they think is going to happen after they steal a car with a person in it and she calls 911?!?
4:21 this must’ve been an awful experience for this couple . To these criminals & them screaming back up but yet cops let them go but thank god they got them. I don’t know what I would go. God bless they got saved. Just seeing the girl crying & in shock & her man bleeding, then the elderly couple in red car. Man I thought they were gonna get away. God bless they didn’t. So awful. I wonder why or what the motive was
The level of camaraderie and interaction between the boys at around 29:15 is definitely something that I personally feel amazing about and cherish at every opportunity. For someone like me who went through the childhood trauma I have (and I'm not discounting anyone else as I know there's tons of ppl who had it way worse than me), Those small and subtle but impactful kinds of dialogues whether I worked in EMS or military, truly make a world of a difference. Especially if/when you deal with mental health/depression/PTSD/SI.
Did you guys notice on the last one the cops smiling, bullshiting, and taking their fucking time. That poor girl had the shit beat out of her and the cops were fucking around. First off they should have already had an EMT there ready to go to the hospital instead of waiting till the last fucking minute they should have had water for her, ready. Guys, that police department is a joke.
In the one where the 3 guys took the coupke in the house then forced the old couple to drive, Why does the youngest kidnapper looks the oldest and the oldest looks the youngest? 😂
seriously?? 3 previous kidnappings?? how the FUCK was that guy allowed out of jail? The justice system needs fixing, fast. Not just in America but all over the world
