I literally just came home bawling cuz I was told I have Slight bladder proplase And rectum wall proplase. June 2nd will only be 1 year after full hysterctomy and now this 😢. She will be giving me a referral to a pelvic floor specialist, I’m praying they are good cuz I’ve heard mixed things on them. I’ve been following you since my hysterectomy, thank you so much for all the free advice on here. Today I am an emotional wreck. I’m only 47! Good grief.
I need your help please with possibly stage 4 proplapse . Surgery is not an option for me due to complex cardiac issues . I have a prolapse in 3 compartments of my pelvic floor .. bladder uterus and a rectocele .. is there any hope I can heal my proplapse with exercise ? I’am currently doing breathing for 5 mins to relax the pelvic floor before drawing the pelvic floor muscles upwards while holding the breath for 5 seconds x 10 followed by relaxing the pelvic floor with breathing and so on. Unfortunately I can’t hold onto a pessary ! last had a pessary in 5inch donut which only stayed in for 24hours .. I was doing well with pessaries for years upto now .. I also will need a hip replacement at some stage .
Appreciate you watching the videos and asking my advice. I would keep focusing on pelvic floor exercises and discuss any other options with your doctor too.. Hopefully you can get support of a pelvic floor therapist in person? It is possible your pessary might be the wrong size for you too.. just a few thoughts, best of luck to you!
