K. was really saying that the separate self is an illusion. That 'I' am just a bundle of memories and that my willing things only reinforces the illusion of the separate self. It's not a message that most people want to hear as they want to improve and develop themselves and become something more.

I don't mind what happens, the wars, the socio-economic uncertainties, the growing societal unrest, the drugs, gun violence, the greed, fear misunderstandings, open hostiles and so forth. Whether I die because of events outside or inside myself that I have no power over and control, I don't mind. Whatever happens to me or those around me, even though for a moment I might grieve or otherwise grimace at the pain, so as with birth and, soon, with death, I don't mind.

Its the paradox of life . Contradiction is overlooked in philosophy , because philosophy isnt constrained by convention , and seeks to go beyond all conventional beliefs , so JK didnt care ? Oh yes he did , his actions and gifts to the world prove this , but it dont make him a deciever or liar either , understanding is not bestowed , it has to be sought , and JK taught us to be seekers , as the truth is inside , not actually outside of us .

Saw him talk in the early eighties, talking for the most of mankind never does it. It is said his last words before death were that basically, his talks had been a waste of time, hence his life. Strange he would refer to himself as a person in that regard. No need to listen to your video as it appears it's very much about you. Personally, after numerous decades stopped taking interest in J. Krishnamurti as his wine was far too dry for me, plus his deceit regarding his sex life cast a long dark shadow over the man...yes an enigma best describes him.
